This is my entry to the Battle Mage Secrets challenge from the Splinterlands team.
This week's theme is the Equal Opportunity ruleset, so I would like to share a battle with it.

The battle ruleset

The Equal Opportunity ruleset has 2 different versions - only for Melee monsters or for all monsters. So whenever I see this ruleset, I need to check clearly which version it is to choose the correct monsters.
I have 2 strategies with Equal Opportunity

• Use high-speed monsters to take the advantage of early attacks
• Use monsters with 2 types of attack or Double Strike ability as main damage dealers
• Can use Martyr monsters to enhance damage dealers

And here is the battle ruleset of my battle

• 42 mana cap
• Only Equal Opportunity rule set
• Fire/Death and Earth splinters can be used in this battle

My lineup

With this ruleset, I decided to use Earth Splinter because it has monsters that are suitable for my above strategies.

Summoner		Lobb Lowland - I chose him because I want to use Quora Towershead in this battle and reduce my opponent speed
1st position		Gargoya Lion - with Flying ability, he has high chance of evading an attack
2nd position		Grund - definitely I need him in this battle with Double strike ability
3rd position		Fungus Flinger - He has low health and he will be the target of opponent monsters in this battle. Then both Grund and Quora Towershead will be strengthened
4th position		Quora Towershead - my main attack dealer in this battle. She is too strong and I don't need to mention to much about it
5th position		Venari Marksrat - two Martyr monsters will be better than one. My Quora Towershead will be enhanced twice
6th position		Queen Mycelia - to have 2 additional armors to protect Grund and Quora Towershead

The battle

Round 1

• My opponent chose Obsidian and magic monsters with Mycelic Infantry as a tanker. However, the disadvantage of this team is low speed and I will have the advantage of early attacks
• As expected, Venari Marksrat was killed by Regal Peryton and Quora Towershead's stat increased to 3 melee/magic attacks
• Both Grund and Quora Towershead sent Mycelic Slipspawn to her home
• Fungus Flinger was eliminated and he gave the Martyr effect to both Grund and Quora Towershead.

Round 2

• At the beginning of round 2, Quora Towershead had the highest speed and she attacked first. She killed Venari Spellsmith and Magi of Chaos in her turn and her stats increased to 6 magic/melee attacks
• Grund also blew away Goblin Psychic in his turn

Round 3

• Quora Towershead again gave the 1st attack and killed Regal Peryton. Her stats continued increasing.

Round 4

• In this round, only Mycelic Infantry stood on the board from the other side and Quora Towershead easily finished the game. Her final stats were 8 magic/melee attacks.

If I have a chance to redo the preparation stage, I would like to swap Venari Marksrat and Fungus Flinger positions. Because Venari Marksrat is always killed first and my Grund could be enhanced earlier and dealt more damage to opponent monsters.
