I'm here to share my Splinterlands diary. This is also my entry for the Splinterlands Weekly Challenge 👍

After a season in the Wild format, I analyzed the performance in the previous report, and my earnings are only half of what I paid for WILD PASS.

So I tried a Tournament with an entry fee of 200 DEC. I joined the Wild Open Silver league because I think it's the best fit with my deck. However, I completely lost this tournament. Out of 171 participants, I ranked 139, with a record of 2 wins and 9 losses. And of course, I didn't get any reward.

That's why I’ve returned to the Modern format. I expect it to be challenging since all my summoners are still at level 1, making my deck relatively weak. But I'm not the only one in this situation, and it actually worked out quite well for me.

Performance

1. My deck overview

• I purchased 50 Common draws, which is half of the previous seasons, and 10 Rare draws. That's why I got more Rare monsters this season.

• I was able to level up 4 reward monsters, as the screenshot below

• Besides these monsters, I also upgraded Underboss Fabino to level 2. I bought 7BCX 5 months ago at $0.5 because I think its price could increase after Conclave Arcana. Now its price is $0.8, an increase of 60% but I decided to level him up to get more wins in Modern format. And I rent out another 2BCX at 2 DEC per day. I think I made a good decision.

  

• My deck value remains unchanged ~$1,550. When I remove the soulbound ones, its value is $240.

2. SPS Earning

• I earned 125 staked SPS this season. 56 staked SPS from ranked battle rewards and another 69 staked SPS from brawl. I still joined Brawl regularly.

• My average staked SPS rewards for each winning battle are 0.62, which is pretty low compared to the previous seasons. However, I earned very little in the Bronze league and got better in the Silver league, especially in Silver I. I earned ~0.5 SPS per battle in Silver III, ~1 SPS in Silver II, and up to 1.5 SPS in Silver I. If I can maintain the same performance and stay in Silver league, I think I will get better earnings.

3. My progress and targets in 2025

• I come back to the Modern format because of the good rewards from ranked battles. I try to stay in the Silver league. I may buy some low-priced Conclave Arcana monsters

• To reach 36K staked SPS in my account by the end of 2025. With the Conclave Arcana, my earnings have significantly dropped. For now, my progress is still above the target, but it will slow down. Progress - 54.9%✅

• Join the Guild brawl regularly. I changed to fray 13 because the rules were changed after Conclave Arcana.

• Increasing my DEC contribution to the Guild to upgrade the Store to level 6 to buy the Blood Stone. My earning is reduced, so my contribution is also impacted

• Use Glint to buy Merits. I want to buy at least 200 Gladiator packs in 2025. I bought 8 Gladius cases this season, increasing the total to 125 cases. Progress - 62.5% ✅
