Kittens in the heat

It's again this time of the year, when kittens need to be shower constantly in order to survive the unbearable heat outside. And do you know what I found this year? They just love it 😹

Yeah, it's a bit hard to believe that, cats don't like water. Ok, there are this super special cats that just lie in the sink and insist on being watered, or those who sail on a boat with their servants and regularly jump into the sea to swim. Or those who enter water bodies to catch a few fish... But as a rule, cats do not like water.

And our Blacky actually absolutely proves it. He runs away from water like a devil from incense. Yes, he is a sweet kitty and is no devil, even though he is black, but he is terrified of all kinds of cleaning products. He was sick once and I had to wash him with water. Well, that was quite an ordeal, both for me and for him.

You know that disease that some people suffer from, a terrifying fear of water. I think our Blacky suffers from it too.😹

But that's just him. The other two just love water and seek it out. They seek me out to get them wet. They meow at the door for me to come out and get them wet, they seek my wet hand to rub their faces and heads in it, to cool themselves even more, in the places I haven't wetted yet.

Poor kittens. It's hard to survive in this heat. Climate change?🤔
