Painting in a glazed facade
I am absolutely in love with buildings with glazed walls and facades.
And here I show you details of one - a very special building. In part of its facade can be seen a whole picture, with the appearance of a painting - a cityscape with a square, a monument, buildings and streets, bridge, overpass, as well as one of the most emblematic landmarks of the city - a water tower from 1873, in the background.
All this is gathered in the reflective surface of the partially glazed facade of this special, eccentric and, I would say, very beautiful building. But, as we said, we are currently concentrating on the reflections on its facades and walls, not on architecture and design.
So now I will show you the above detail from another angle. In which detail the water tower can be seen again in the background. Focus on the tower and the right side of the photo. Not on the left. Today we are talking about beautiful things. This is another part of the facade, also glazed. The reflection of the sky is observed here:
And here, a detail from some back part. The sky is visible again.
In fact, did I need to explain so much exactly what was being seen? 🤔😄 Enjoy!

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
