Leila walked around the table slowly, looking at the wedding cake from every angle and when something didn't convince her she gave instructions to the pastry chef. Every detail had to be scrutinized and taken care of, from the decorations to the inscriptions, everything had to be perfect for the most perfect day of a lifetime. The mother of the bride had taken on the task of wedding planner and had done so with the utmost commitment and devotion. On the other hand, every effort was aimed at making her daughter happy and therefore the thing did not weigh on her.

Leila girò intorno al tavolo lentamente, osservando la torta nuziale da ogni angolo e quando qualcosa non la convinceva dava istruzioni alla pasticcera. Ogni dettaglio doveva essere vagliato e curato, dalle decorazioni alle scritte, ogni cosa doveva essere perfetta per il giorno più perfetto di una vita. La madre della sposa si era fatta carico del compito di wedding planner e se n'era fatta carico con il massimo impegno e devozione. D'altronde ogni sforzo era nell'ottica di far felice la figlia e quindi la cosa non le pesava.
