Exhausted by so little appetite for risk and challenge, Liam decided to strike out on his own. In this way he could choose his employees according to his standards, motivate them according to his convictions and fire them if they did not match his criteria and results. In practice, he had to play the role of the father and master, be tough but at the same time encourage his employees with all the tactics at his disposal. He had to take them to the limit but without them realizing it.

Sfibrato da così poca propensione al rischio e alla sfida, Liam decise di mettersi in proprio. In tal modo poteva scegliersi i collaboratori secondo i suoi standard, motivarli in ragione delle sue convinzioni e licenziarli nel caso non riscontrasse una adeguata corrispondenza ai suoi criteri e risultati. In pratica doveva sostenere il ruolo del padre padrone, essere duro ma al contempo spronare i suoi dipendenti con tutte le tattiche a disposizione. Doveva portarli al limite ma senza che se ne rendessero conto.
