Jill stopped running just the last few months of her pregnancy and resumed a few weeks after giving birth. Rain, wind, snow, there was no weather condition that could stop her. For her, running was a natural reflex, like breathing or eating, she breathed in the wind and devoured the miles. Even as age relentlessly advanced, she could imperceptibly slow down but not back down.

Jill interruppe la corsa giusto gli ultimi mesi di gravidanza e riprese poche settimane dopo aver partorito. Pioggia, vento, neve, non c'era condizione meteorologia che potesse fermarla. Per lei correre era un riflesso naturale, come respirare o mangiare, respirava il vento e divorava i kilometri. Anche se l'età avanzava implacabilmente, lei poteva impercettibilmente rallentare ma non indietreggiare.
