Introduction

We love making gifs! This of you that follow us can see the journey we have been on. You can find our Gifs on Giphy and Tenor here is our Giphy Channel https://giphy.com/stickupmusic

Gif Stats

We are still amazed at how well our gifs too. On giphy alone now we are on 137 million views I guess we are the same on Tenor which would make our total gif views over a 1/4 of a billion....and steadily growing!

Making some gifs for our website

We though we should start updating our website although still need to do some more on it - www.stickupboys.co.uk If anyone wants to help us please feel free to message us or contact us!

If you go to the website you will see we have started implementing some gifs as buttons and here are a few of the ones we have made for the website that we though would also make some nice gifs for our collection too!

Part of what we are developing as a band is our record label and these gifs tell the story of that really.

So we do have a label called Stick Up Music

we want to wrap up some of the coolest indie music around...

That's a lot of views! You all have some of the best GIFs, so hundreds of millions of views like that are deserved. I'm curious if Giphy or Tenor pays anything for all of those views you have gotten, but I have a feeling the answer is no. It is still awesome to know that so many people appreciate the creativity that your team brings to the table.

Yes the answer is a definite no on payment! It is good fun and people sometimes support us by buying gif nft or occasionally people pay us a little bit to make some for them. if only each view were worth 0.0001$ we would be very happy....however it is good for marketing and also supporting Hive tribes which we love to do so it is all good!

Seriously, I’m surprised they don’t at least share a fraction of their profit… then again I’m not because that’s how centralization works.
