Building a studio - testing some time lapse animation with green screen over the top!
Introduction
We have been posting a little bit about building a new music and video studio and wanted to start trying to make a few timelapse videos of what is going on!
This is a testing video to see how it works and to try and get the idea of the best method to make it!
Process
We se up an IPAD on a tripod on top of the garrage and did 2 time lapse video during the day. We then added them to imovie and added a little bit of SUBs on green screen to make it more fun!
The green screen came out quite nicely and it seemed to work ok.
The video
Now this is not the most exciting video, as I siad it is about the process today as this was our first day doing it!
We added an instrumental version of our song Turn Me UP to give it some beats! YOu can hear the vocal version here:

Looks like a fun project. I'll be interested in things like the soundproofing, wiring and gear that is being installed. We built a summer house a while back, but it's lacking most of what I'd need for recording music.

We wont fully sound proof it but will be adding a lot of accoustic sound treatment so that recordings sound good. We will blog about the equipment too as we get the stage but it is a long way off! Untill then I am stuck in the spare room....
