Kudos to you for speaking out the truth straightforward. It aches my heart to see that the same country which expresses itself - the US - the sole preparator of peace is doing all this. Well, nothing so surprising, it has always followed this way i.e. Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Afghanistan, Iraq, Venezuela, Vietnam and list goes on and on. Last week, I read a report by Pew which stated that 61% folks disapprove with the President's handling of the war. Like what do you mean by this mishandling? Are you happy that we are close to complete annihilation? The riches, the elites do not care about anything; but what has happened to the general public?

Furthermore, as you have said, nothing is in our hand. All we can do is hope and pray. Or maybe, we can brag about morality, ethics, just, humanity etc., still all in vain, because all these things are mere philosophical in contemporary world. The biggest question is: what are we even fighting for? Some absurd nationalism or just following the madman's world :)

In the end, no matter what we achieve or how many institutions we have; human beings will ultimately find a way to obliterate each other.
