A Day Tour To The Amazing Olympic Forest Park
The Beijing municipality is a place of great natural beauty, which is full of dozens of natural parks in the heart of the city centre. In this vast city are wherever I go, I see so many parks with natural beauty that have been a part of Chinese culture from the very beginning of the Chinese civilisation. I read a recent report that mentioned that 46% of Beijing is covered in green forest, with 22% of it being artificial forest land. Most of Beijing's municipal Area is comprised of natural scenic areas, including parks, scenic spots, lakes, and mountain ranges. Especially the northern region of the whole municipality is full of mountain forests and I have visited a handful of them where most of the wild forest land are located. In the downtown area, most of the forest lands are artificially created to make Beijing a cleaner and environmentally fresh city.
One of the largest forest parks in the downtown area is the Olympic Forets Park which is located in the northern part of the Beijing Municipal. The park was built for the ocasion of 2008 Summer Olympics that was the starting of the opening of new China to the rest of the world. It is seperated into two parts and they are the southern part and the northern part. As per my internet knowledge the total area of the park is 680 hectares which means around 6.8 square km which is really insane to cover it up in a siongle day!
I have entered into the park previously for a while but didn't enter into the deeper section as it needs a lot of time to explore the park for its insane size. As I walked into the park from the eastern gate and found the vast open area which appeare to be a completely different world from the city vibes. I arrived through the eastern gate area, which was lined with a lot of green trees and bushes that made the way to the green area ahead look nice. There are many tiny channels and rivers that make the park stunning with so many amazing views.
The parks becomes more silent as I entered more deeper as the density of the people start decreasing drastically after passing the main roads of the park. The firstview that attracted me was the clouds of the blue sky and the green beauty on the earth tha made an fabulous view with the sun inthe western sky cover with these clouds. I felt like the whole park is a place of serene and the greenliness of the park is so astonishing to explore.
The Olympic Forest Park is very large, covering an area that is carefully designed to make this park a masterpiece in the city. Each area in the park has its special charm and these are prpared with so much care and still it is taken care perfectly. Different area of the park is for different types of trees where the natural scenes are so attractive and breathtaking. I heard the sounds of birds instead of city sounds that made me feel so good.
As I walked through these different corner of the park, I was amazed at how well the authority had made a great combination of nature with the city. I could not cover up all the areas in a single day but the area that I have explored is really beyond description. And I am going to come back to visit the park agin in the coming days.
I hope you like my photos of the beauty of the Olympic Forest Park and its amazing scerene views int he sumemr season. It was an amazing experience to explore such a fantastic place like this, with the discovery of natural beauty, to enjoy my Beijing life! Furtehrmore the favorable weather with clean air and clear sky, the views were more beautiful than in normal time. Hassan!
I was amazed by the vastness and beauty of the Olympic Forets Park!
Since ancient times, the Chinese have been passionate about transforming rivers, lakes, and forests into the most beautiful gardens!
I thought they were the best in the world at artificially beautifying rivers, lakes, and forests!😃
Don no batt!
Yeah, the beauty of the park is really amazing. The green lushes and the planned water channels make the park a scenic one.

It feels promising that Beijing has its 46% as green forest not the artificial ones. That park you visited is part of the percentage and I can see it is well-tended by the authorities and maintenance in the place. It is so clean and I love the photos where you can see the vast sky reflect on the lake, a manifestation that it is completely clean.
Yeah, it really clean but not limited to this park, wherever you go in Beijing, you can find such cleanliness. And in recent years they have improved their air quality greatly with too much forestration and preaerving the old ones. Thanks for stopping by!
Wow, that park looks super huge! I can’t imagine exploring 6.8 square km in one day 😅 It must feel amazing to step away from the busy city and just enjoy the calm nature vibes.
Yeah, the park is so large for a single day tour. I have just walked around a tiny part of it. In summer, it becomes more difficult to roam around during mid day. Thanks for stopping by!
Great shots! 💖 This park is really stunning ✨ You perfectly captured how peaceful it is 🙌 It's amazing that such a big place exists right in the middle of a city 🙌 It's definitely the kind of spot you'd need multiple visits to truly appreciate 💕
