Active Bidding Strategy In Peakmonsters For Cheaper Splinterlands Cards
Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.
I hope everyone of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands. The Splinterlands is getting more excitement now as the new and exciting gameplays are coming to the Splinterverse on a regular basis. This is a great experience to have new strategies and more opportunities for the both new and old players. At the current stage, the modern battle format is getting very difficult without new cards and as I had only old cards from the Chaos Legion, and I skipped the rebellion edition in my last investment strategy, I am facing more difficulty.
So, I am starting my new cards and cards pack purchasing from the Conclave arcana edition. I have already bought these packs and cards already. Consistingly, I am accumulating from cards from the Conclave Arcana edition for continuing the modern format as it gives the higher rewards among all other battle formats. Today I am going to share my bidding strategy for my recent cards purchase for building my modern decks as my participation in the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! In my post I will share details bidding strategy in the Peakmonsters and I will also discuss my opinion on whether to purchase cards packs or selective cards to make the best use of your funds for Splinterlands. I hope this will help you to decide which strategy is perfect for you.
At first I want to share why I prefer balancing in buying cards seperately and packs for better return on investments.
It is important to prioritise the specific stronger cards which you will use most frequently, especially for the neutral and dragon team. They must be bought first and then other important cards. It is also important to buy card packs at a regular time frame to check your luck for pulling some better cards from the opening packs that can change your portfolio within seconds and your investment will multiply very fast.
It is a good strategy to level up commons and rare cards first to be able to play the modern format effectively from the Conclave Arcana edition. So, buying more starter packs can be a better way for grabbing summoners and levelling up rare and common cards at ca heaper cost.
In my calculation and experience, I suggest to spend roughly 30-40% of your investment in opening packs and the rest you should use for direct card purchasing for your deck building.
The first step for bidding is to make sure your fund in credit or DEC form in your game account. I prefer the credit form as the price for DEC can vary often. Bit sometimes DEC can be better when its price increases. But other point that I want to mention that it is not convenient for buying DEC from the hive-engine that needs extra 0.75% fees to use Hive directly but I can buy credit from the direct use of Hive or HBD from my account without any extra fees.
So, I have credited my account with 35K credits by spending my Hive from my account directly which saves the fees to buy DEC from the hive-engine where I need to spend SWAP.HIVE. So, the time for discusing why to use the bidding system instead of buying fom the listed cards in the market?
The first reason is to grab the cards according to your necessary number of cards with a fixed price as the listed cards prices increases raidly after the lowest priced BCX in the market. But in bidding system price is not increased with the purchase of a lot of BCX as you need for your levelling up of the card.
The second and most significant reason for using the bidding system for purchasing card is to have the opportunity to buy at very cheaper cost as you can buy the card at your desired price in bulk amount.
Though it can be slow process in bidding system but it can save a lot of your funds when you want to buy cards in bulk amount.
My Bids For Purchases
For setting up your bid, you have to click on the cards that you want to by from the buy cards option from the website interface.
And, instant the list of the cards in the market will appeas with three options -
- CARD LISTINGS
- CARD BIDS
- CARD RENTALS
From these three optios you can check the listing price and the renting cost. For setting up your bid, you have to click the CARD BIDS section and you can see the active bids by different players. To make your bid you can click the blue bar at the bottom indicating MAKE A BID FOR THIS CARD.
Then you will have the interface for setting up your price and number of your desired BCX that you want to buy at that specified cost you have set up. The price can be set in term of USD or DEC for your card purchase. Also, you can specify the maximum number of BCX combination of a single card that you want to buy.
It is important for the players who want to buy only single BCX for renting investements or for the future trade of the card. So, everything is so clear and easy in the biddng system that can be used as the cheapest way to purchase cards specificly which one you want to use more frequently in the battles.
These are my current bids in the marketplace, and I am waiting for players to sell at the highest bid that I have made in the bidding system. I hope I could be able to buy them as soon as possible.
I hope you find some useful information in the post that will add more fun to your Splinterlands journey. If you have any questions, you can ask me in the comments. I will try to answer them as much as I can. Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch you at the next one.
