Age-Old History In The Confucius Temple In Beijing

Inside the Confucius temple, there are many historical relics, as Confucius is one of the most influential people in Chinese society from ancient times. When I visited the Confucius temple last month with my friend, we were amazed to see how the Chinese Society is so good at preserving their cultural relics and values. I think their reluctance to accept the outer world has proven to be very beneficial for them so far, in my observation. The similarity of their language in the whole country, which is so vast, is really a fantastic factor for the overall development of the country.

There is a main hall in the Temple area, which is full of many ancient things that have been used by the old generation, and those things are still so beautiful. Though this place is named a temple, it is not a place of worship, but I was shocked that many people were throwing some money into the idols of some specific animals and things in the hall. I don't understand why they try to donate such a large amount of money to these spots for something that doesn't exist. But this is their tradition and cultural activity that has been circulated in the whole country and still exists in the current time.

There are also some daily necessary things that I do not completely recognize, as I am from a society that has been completely different from Chinese society from the very early stage of civilization. But some of them are visible, like many daily necessary things, like a beautiful cradle, beautiful water pots, and many decorative apparatus. But unfortunately, I am not very accustomed to many of these things.

The most amazing fact is that everything is so beautiful and the colors are so bright that they attract everyone. One observation that I found was that most of the things that are built from the very old civilizations are built very carefully with the brightest colors to make them very beautiful. And the historical places like the Confucius temple are filled with these beautiful things in China.

There is another section of the whole temple area where many old stones pillars are kept as preservation of them. These stone pillars are inscribed with many scriptures from the teachings of Confucius, and they are properly preserved there. It is a great way to preserved such teachings without any issues years after years.

Me and my friends tried to check these pillars and found that there are many pillars that are so old that many of them are are decayed and they are faded away so much that they were not clear to read. Also, I have noticed that the top section of these pillars are decorated with many shapes of Chines Dragons which are so common every where in Chinese civilization.

Besides, the premise of the whole temple area is properly decorated as most of the other scenic places in China which represents their relentless efforts to make everything so beautiful and attractive. And, for this reason, you can find that these tourist spots are so attractive to tourists.

In conclusion, my visit to the Confucius temple was a memorable one. I learned how the Chinese people and their society respect their people with great wisdom and preserve the old traditional things in their old form.
