Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut: The Single Power House Defeated My Complete Team!
Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.
I hope everyone of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands with much more fun with new cards and new strategies. The Splinterlands is becoming more exciting as new abilities are coming to the Splinterverse regularly. As my participation in the "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!" in this post, I am going to talk about the great promo monster from the Conclave Arcana edition with dual splinter life and dragon, which is the Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut that has defeated my whole team in one of my recent battles that I played. This battle is really a new experience for me, as I have not faced against this amazing monster previously as I have not played too much battles in the modern format.
This is a great monster because of many things with immense number of health which is 20 at level one and maximum 25 at the max level. I think this is the highest in my knowledge. Also the monster has a decent speed three that increased from th2 to three at the max version. Furthermore, this monster has another 4 armors at max level that has been increased from 3 at level 1. Also, this monster has 3 melee attacks at the max level that make it a great TANK, an unbeatable monster against any enemy team with some healing support.
As Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut is a promo card, it can be bought from the Voucher shops with around 1000 voucher per BCX and with the entry for draws for the other versions. But this card can be quite cheaper in the third party market compared to the in game voucher shop.
The listing price for the normal foil version is only $14.12, which can are abundant in the market. It requires around $155.32 to get the max version of this amazing card.
But the gold foil version is not so abundant in the market as it is very rare. The GF version of the card price is listed at $219 which is quite expensive. For the gold version of this card requires around $876 to get the max version of this amazing card with all the abilities.
Besides, the immense stats, this amazing monster is so powerful for it's incredible abilities from the level one. These abilities are so powerful that, with its immense stats, this card becomes undominatable against any normal team without such destructive team members.
The first ability that this powerful monster provides is the TRAMPLE. With this fantastic ability this monster attacks to the second monster when it successfully killed the targeted first enemy monster. Often it can do multiple attacks that can be devastating for a team.
The second ability of this excellent monster is the another great ability that is newly introduced ability known as the FLANK. This ability allow the second monster next to it gets the REACH ability. So, if the Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut is a primary TANK then second monster will get the REACH ability without having it in real. So, combining another TRAMPLE monster with the Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut can be a battle winning strategy in Splinterlands.
The third ability that the Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut has is the Inspire ability that adds one extra melee attacks to all the friendly monster having the melee attacks. Also, with this ability this amazing monster also get another melee attacks with it's prior 3 melee attacks making a total 4 number of Melee attacks.
The final and the 4th ability that I want to talk about is the VOID which made this card a great one as it will have half of the damage caused by magic attacks. So, this ability makes this amazing monster into a complete BEAST as most of the time the magic attacks are deadlier for a battle.
My Battle
Now I want to share some glimpses of my battle where I have been defeated so badly as I have not killed any monster from the enemy team but I lost the battle.
At the end of the round 2, I have lost my powerful TANK and also another supportive monster. So, the enemy team is getting enough opportunity to destroy my team, but my team is unable to fight against the first TANK of the enemy team.
The healing monster of the enemy team has made the Primary TANK of the enemy team undefeatable.
At the end of the round 4, I lost my final monster, but still the primary TANK of the enemy team is still alive. Besides all of the enemy monsters are alive and I lost the battle.
