Diversive Strategy With Opening Splinterlands Packs And Buying Cards From The Market
Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.
I hope everyone of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands. The Splinterlands is getting more excitement now as the new and exciting gameplays are coming to the Splinterverse on a regular basis. Currently, I am building my decks for modern format as in modern format I need the new cards to do battles. So, as my strategy that I have mentioned in my previous blogs, how I am preparing for the modern decks. As my participation in the "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!" I will discuss how I am preparing for my decks with the combination of opening packs and also buying some specific cards directly from the market.
Today I have invested a handful amount of DEC in the card shop in the game where I had a deficit of around 21K DEC to get my next free wagon that is also worth of $5.55 in the market for free. Also, I want to try my luck for the rarer cards from the standard packs that can make my portfolio into an amazing level. By the way, today I have check the chance for the Conflicts result but my bad luck I had no reward as my chances are very low and I am trying to increase it as much as possible as the upcoming conflicts rewards will be more rarer and and more expensive. So, the new wagon will increase my chance in the game. I will also spend another 100K DEC in the coming month that will add another wagon and increase my chance more before the last 6 summoners from the Conflicts.
Today, I have bought 5 standard packs that cost 20K DEC which is around $14.40 and also I bought some other related potions that cost another bucks making a total investment of $15.50 which is a good amount of investment for my occasional investment in decks as I have already bought 2 pieces of Gold Foiled Dragon Summoner to level it to the level 4.
Luckily I have pulled two summoners from the three packs when I have opened them altogether. At the current market value, the legendary cards are listed around $8.3 and other one is around $4.4 making the total values for three packs is around $13.5 which has made a good profit as I have invested only around $8.00 for the packs purchase.
For the other two packs, I have pulled one summoner in a pack and also in another pack I have got a gold foiled common card making ther values like 2 and 1 bucks making another $3 for the other two packs making a slightly loss for this case.
For evaluating the performance of these packs I will open them all and then I will analyze the price of the total cards that I make from these cards. And try to find out the most value in return on investment.
From the starter packs, I have also opened another 5 packs and opened them all at once without opening them separately.
From these 5 packs, I have got some good RARE cards but only one summoner from the Dragon splinter team. It is a good one but not expensive as the earth team. But I am happy that the value of these cards from these 5 packs is $3.13 where I have invested 5k DEC that worth $3.6 which has ocurred loss of $0.47. Often it is very normal when I get few summoners from these packs. But I like to test my luck in this case.
The overall price of these cards from these 10 packs is $19.65 according to the listing price and my cost for the 25K DEC is around $18 which is a solid gain of $1.65 which is not in the loss side. So, after compiling all of these two types of card packs, the standard packs are profitable in this time with my two legendaries, otherwise it could be a loss of half of my value as I have not pulled any legendary cards and only one Epic card.
