Martyr: an amazing ability and my first experience is awesome!
Hello splinter boys and girls living in the Splinterverse, hope you all are enjoying the recent pump in Splinterlands assets which is a clear sign of the bright future of the game! The crashing market is going to end in the Splinterlands soon. I am also very satisfied to be one of the Splinterlands believers because my Portfolio of the game assets like my card collection has started increasing again and already it has grown around 40% from $1300 to $1850 now which is a solid growth after such a tremendous drop! This can be predictable when the overall crypto market will enter the next bull season, the Splinterlands assets will be multiple times of the current value for sure.
After my break I have started playing Splinterlands now and my rating has come to zero for skipping last two season. And so, I have started playing from the novice and now almost near the silver league. Often it is very difficult against the bot while I used to play in super fast like a robot for making good use of time and previously I have discuss about my strategy to play for a short time with better benefit. Today from novice loot chest, I got a soulbound card for the first time and this is a common card from the earth team known as the FUNGUS FLINGER which is really a fascinating one with the amazing and new ability MARTYR and this ability will increase the stuffs of the friendly adjacent cards of the team. And in this battle I got this fascinating increment of my URAEUS which make the battle to a draw while it was a clear loosing one so I am going to share this battle as my weekly battle share contest by Splinterlands.
My monsters line up
The battle was a 24 MANA battle with the ruleset of using no magic attacks which means no magic attackers can be used for the battle while all the summoners, and the monsters will have their normal abilities! I have chosen the EARTH summoner 'MYLOR CROWLING' which will add the amazing THORNS ability to all of my friendly monsters which will be a great weapon for the MELEE attacker of any enemy team. As, the battle is in the Bronze league, all the monsters and the summoners will be lower and there will be no fascinating legendary also!
Also the enemy team has the amazing DEATH team summoner that deduct an RANGE attack to my all friendly monsters though I have a multiple RANGE attackers this time and I am not safe now! But as of higher level summoner than me with some great card, it was a clearly defeating one for my team. But the THORNS and the MARTYRS ability of the FUNGUS FLINGE has make the battle very competitive!
I have chosen the 'GRUND as my primary tank as this monster has the amazing ability of DOUBLE STRIKE which works fine against the any attackers as it has an number of attacks with a good speed from the level 1. Also the number of health is also significant with 10 MANA cost!
My 2nd monster is the 0 MANA cost earth monster FUNGUS FIEND which is a great card to absob some extra attacks while other monsters will do their jobs for an extra round!
My 3rd monster is the great neutral epic monster 'URAEUS' and with the SNEAK ability.
Most importantly it has got the facility of the MARTYR ABILITY from the FUNGUS FLINGER which make this monster a devastating one for the enemy team!
My fourth monster is the featuring monster FUNGUS FLINGER which is an amazing soulbound reward card.
Also it has some other amazing abilities in higher level which are also very useful for any battles!
My final monster is 'VENARI SEEDSMITH' with 2 RANGE attacks but it was killed at first round so it was a useless one for me in this battle!
Battle
The battle was very exciting as the enemy team has more speed and some sneak attackers with range attackers also. So, my monsters has missed many attacks throughout the battle!
Also, my primary TANK GRUND did a good job by double strike. But most importantly enemy team was far stronger and the battle was very exciting.
I was not able to win the battle only for the great role of the enemy's HARKLAW but made a draw with the MARTYR ability from the FUNGUS FLINGER and the great TANK GRUND with the double strike ability.

Finally, I made a DRAW the match at last, though it was a very close one and if some of the attacks were missed definitely I would loss the battle!

Fungus Flinger is quite good. That was the first card I got in a reward chest and I immediately tried it, putting him in the second position so he would get killed and power up my backline sneak card, which ended up giving a win. Overall I'm excited for these new reward cards. Thanks for the write up.
Thanks for reading my post. It ia also my first soulbound card and I think this ability can be very effective if you use with the resurrection cards, may be multiple stats increment can be aweaome to explore!

nice post but using all level 1 cards for long for writing challenge posts may consider as post farming
Thanks for your helpful suggestion, but I have played this match with level one cards as I have started plying after two seasons, and I always share with what I play. But I will be careful about such thing in future posts.
