The recent proposal with the future initiative for implementing some measures to crack down the bots-farming in a modern format is a great decision by the developer team! I am sure in the future the game will be more real player oriented. In addition, the devastating crashing market of the crypto world has ended, and at this time Splinterlands is also doing very well with Land Expansion 1.0. Unlike traditional crypto games, which typically have been destroyed with the short-term pumping of in-game assets without creating values. But Splinterlands is trying to build up long-term and sustainable game mechanics to keep it's huge fanbase stuck to the game economy.

I am also very satisfied to be one of the Splinterlands believers because my Portfolio of the game assets like my card collections, Plots, and staked SPS is a kind of savings and so I have started buying some more cards in every deep now as I am planning to move into the Diamond league. And for that, I am buying the summoners first, I want to make them the gold league max before entering the Diamond league. Also, the in-game token price of Splinterlands has started increasing recently with the announcement of their biggest upcoming phase with the LAND EXPANSION. According to the Dappradar, the game is still at the top for a long period of time. The two amazing abilities among the Splinterlands cards are the "MARTYR" which is a newly introduced ability and the "BLOODLUST" which is existing for a long time with all the Gladiator cards but recently some of the main cards have got the amazing ability for regular use. Definitely, these two abilities are awesome and have a great impact on the battle. And none is negligible in any case. But there are some facts to choose the best one in a battle which include the following consideration-

• BLOODLUST cards are generally the LEGENDARY and expensive cards for the general use cases in the main battle whereas the Martyr cards are cheaper and often they are from the SOULBOUND series requiring the luck to upgrade the level.

• In Bloodlust and Martyr both cases the common increment of the friendly monsters is increased by 1 including all types of attacks, health, and armor.

• in Bloodlust enemy's dead is a requirement but for Martyr's ability, the death of a friendly monster is the requirement!

• In Bloodlust the friendly killer can get the opportunity but for the Martyr, both neighboring-friendly monsters get the opportunity.

• Martyr is more convenient as the ability will be activated with the martyr card's death but for Bloodlust, the bestowed card must kill the enemy monster to activate it.

My Favorite

If I consider to chose any of them for any battle I will choose the Martyr for most of the time unless the battle conditions are more favorable to the Bloodlust ability. I can make some points on supporting my position and also I will try to figure out some alternative ways to balance them together.

• Martyrs are free cards from SOULBOUND cards and the upgradation process is easier than the expensive legendary for the Bloodlust.

• The Martyr's card will be increasing my two friendly monsters but bloodlust needs more conditions though the Bloodlust card can be a devastating beast in some favorable conditions!

• Generally, martyrs are for low or medium-low MANA matches with some limited options in High MANA but Bloodlusts are generally for Medium or High MANA matches.

• Both of them are necessary for the lineup according to the requirement as the Gladiators are awesome with the divine ability of Bloodlust whereas normal battles can be awesome with the Martyrs cards.
