Shopping Souvenir In The Tourist Zone
The souvenir shops in the tourist zone are an important part of a travel and I have bought many things from many places, especially I can remember about the passport from the shops near the Forbidden Kingdom of the downtown and some postcards from other places. But later I found that those things are not of s much importance for me as I lost many things when I shift to other places as there is always the limitation of spaces when you are not settled down to a permanent or for a long time of stay.
So, I have stopped buying these things and there is another reason behind my decision that I want to talk about in my observation. I will also want to give you some tips if you want to visit China in your future trips. You can buy some very useful things from the shops before entering the scenic spots if you find any. The same things will be much expensive inside the scenic area. Even for a bottle of water can be price 5-10 times in the scenic spot, so I always carry my own water bottle everywhere.
The most important tip that I should give you is not to show too much interest in front of the shopkeeper; the seller will take advantage of you and not decrease the price when they realize that you are fond of a specific thing. But when you ignore after checking something, the seller will try to sell it to you at a much lower price than it is rated in the tags or they want for the first time. I have experienced such things, especially the shops that are outside the scenic area. But the shops inside the scenic area have fixed prices most of the time.

You can find many characters from the Beijing Opera in the souvenir shops in Beijing, which is very common. But the price is really so high when the size of these characters is a bit larger, as you can see in the tags. The USD rate is around 7.04 RMB per USD.

You can also find some wooden commodities and some stone statues, which are the most expensive things I have seen everywhere. The wooden utensils are really overpriced, and you can find similar or the same things sometimes at a very low price in the online shopping apps in China.
And online shopping is on another level in China, so you can trust and find the best things from the online shops at very low prices. But some things are branded and traditional, which are limited to the specific shops only, and those are always very very expensive.

I saw some ornamental things in some shops which are also so expensive, I wanted to buy one but the price didn't make me feel easy to buy at that rate for such things.

I also saw some porcealin pots whuich are very traditional in China for a long time in the Chinese civilization. The price is also very high as usual for these things. But these things are very colorful and very beautiful that everyone will be attracted by their beauty and design on them.
The only cheaper options are the post cards which can be bought at very lower price around half a buck.I have some of them but no use cases except the memory and so I am not buying them at the moment.

I hope you enjoy my photos of the beautiful souvenirs in the scenic spots in Beijing, especially the colorful statues which are from the age-old mythology and history of the Chinese civilization. Also, some of them are from the Buddhist religion aspects, and some of them are the characters played in the Beijing Opera. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wishing you a good day!
I took all the photos, and these are my own property.

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hasan!
Chinese merchants go to great lengths to charge foreigners like you more.
I'm not interested in Chinese dolls or porcelain, but your travel story is very interesting!
I'm wondering what products are most profitable for foreigners to buy in Bangladesh!
Don no batt!
The cheapest things that you can buy in Bangladesh are food! Though many of them are unhealthy! And for other things, you can find clothes at incredibly low prices, and then you can also find many leather products at very low prices.
Dear @tanzil2024 !
East Asians who have traveled to Bangladesh say that the country's diverse and abundant food is very cheap.
However, they did not know much about Bangladeshi clothing and leather products.
They said that Bangladeshi women are kind and attractive.😄
Yeah, usually very few foreigners visit the local villages where everything is so cheap to live, and the food is fresher than in other places. And in the village area, it is difficult to find a hotel for a night's stay and for dinner or lunch, though nowadays you can find them everywhere. But if you ask any village area, you can find many helpful people to manage your stay and food without any cost, they are very generous. The best way to find honest people is to go to the mosque yard and ask for help, they will help you for sure with minimal cost for your safety. But it is also important to maintain your safety by not travelling after dark in the rural area as everywhere you can face some bad people to make your day the worst one ever!
