Walking Towards Mountains: Earth From The Top

Huairou is among the top-visited districts of Beijing Municipality for its natural scenic beauty with many mountains, lakes, and rivers, all of which are so attractive for travelling. In my last post I was talking about the Sheng Quan Shan (Quan Mountain) Scenic Area, which is a great place for hiking and climbing up the mountains. I have shown the scenic pathway towards the mountains in this post - Walking Towards Mountains Through Breathtaking Pathway and today I will share what I have explored from top of the mountains in the surrounding area.

The Sheng Quan Shan (Quan Mountain) Scenic Area is a large natural preserved park in the Northwest region which are the mountain region of the Beijing Municipality. In the area ,I had to walk a long mountain path to get to the top of the mountains and enjoyed the surrounding views as you have seen in my last post. It needs to walk about an hour to reach the mid area of the area and half of the height that you can reach.

After reaching this height, you will start feeling that you are in the sky. Everything on the earth surrounding the area will become tiny in size. A vast area will appear in front you that will amaze you with amazing views. The houses, buildings and the roads will be appeared ad you explore in different maps on your screen. The exploration in this area can be 360 degree as whole surrounding is filled with mountains and natural scenic views from the top of the mountain.

The only complaining thing that I had to say that the day was not so clear as the far views were foggy and the far views were covered with white fog that made some of the views a little bit dimming. But the views that are visible clearly are soothing without any complain they will attract you with the nature's scenic beauty.

The more height you climb, the more surrounding area you can cover, but due to the foggy weather the far area stated becoming more white without far areas views. Also, I was exploring that area in the late afternoon and I have climb down timely to avoid unwanted risks at the late hours. So, I have not climbed to thelast peak which is around 20% that was left to cover and I started climbing down from that peak of the mountain.

In conclusion, I can say the while scenic area is a place of natural scenes and calmness. The hiking paths are properly designed for the tourists not sor camping in the deep as these area are protected forest area. I have enjoyed these eye-catching views in the spring time and I want to visit the area in a clear day to explore the far horizontal views from the mountain top.
