With the recent developments surrounding artificial intelligence (AI), machines are finally capable of performing a wide range of tasks that could only be realistically done by humans just over 12 months ago.

Thanks to advancements in hardware at the same time, it is estimated to be 10-50x more productive than an average human could do. Hence, it has the capability of replacing roughly 50% of all skilled jobs worldwide. This includes programming in major languages (such as JavaScript and Python) with working code and writing blog posts like this one which are fully indistinguishable from human writings.

Effective 1 April 2023, everything I do on Hive will be replaced by an AI model called Mager. This includes all coding work, blog posts, videos and other Hive-related activities.

Why am I doing this

As we already know, humans are relatively unproductive compared to machines, as machines can work 24/7 without getting tired (from time-to-time it may require human maintenance), whereas we can't even sustain a few hours a week.

We also have our own personal issues to deal with every day, and this is the one of the many reasons why Alive Protocol is still yet to be launched even after nearly 3 years until I posted the first update about it, and OneLoveIPFS v3 took one year to prepare.

Mager can do all that much faster and deliver all the Hive projects I always wanted to do much sooner. Just like crypto and NFTs, AI is here to stay and there is no way we can stop this.

Now tell me what is Mager all about

The proprietary AI model was trained specifically for use as TechCoderX using my previous Hive posts and code from my Github repositories to replicate how everything was done by me. The training was done with help by @gray00 from the department of Humoids from OneLoveIPFS.

The model is not open source to prevent impersonators from pretending to be me, and it will be fine tuned over time to keep it that way. It will also keep TechCoderX differentiable from what other developers are doing, who are likely doing the same thing to automate everything.

The hardware

Running an AI model will require beefy hardware (especially the GPU). Hence I will be using 4 of the latest RTX 5090 Ti with 128GB VRAM each, connected using NVLink contained in one unit.

As you can see, graphics cards are getting outrageously huge these days to the point where it has its own unit installed outside of the building and definitely outside the PC.

To cut initial costs (especially when it consumes a shy of 1,500W at peak load), rather than purchasing it from well-known brands, I bought it from a manufacturer most probably have never heard of, GIINT.

Happy April Fools! I just want to get something out there as I'm rarely posting in recent years. And maybe to make fun of the upcoming monstrous GPUs.
