After the frolic, Henrietta insisted that he took her home, so he went over to his car and drove off, with Henrietta following. At his house, they had sex again, and then Henrietta while fuddling with the hair on his chest pleaded with Tonye to dump Alice for her.
Henrietta told him that she knew that he was only pretending with Alice. As she spoke, Tonye was reviewing his escapades and concluded that his experience with Henrietta was the most thrilling-her stunts were outlandish. But he knew that he couldn't end his relationship with Alice, neither would he want to stop having her friends.
So the game went on. Three close friends of Alice had her man in turns, and he had his eyes trained on the others. While Alice fooled herself about being engaged to a born again. Bisola, Mattie, and Henrietta drew closer to Alice just to keep Tonye close. So, when Alice and Tonye announced their wedding date, the girls became more desperate, stepping up their antics. Tonye got more gifts, domestic and sexual services at home. Tonye got anxious as the wedding drew closer, not sure of how the episodes would end. He had everything looking up, he had resumed at a new job which had to give him a great leap in status. But Tonye feared that something might go wrong.
On Friday, preceding the wedding, Tonye received over ten SMS from girlfriends, asking for ‘a last-time act. That evening, before the bachelor's eve, he received another message purportedly from the General Manager of the Radio station he had worked. The text offered him a fully paid suite for the weekend at a four-star hotel close to the venue of the bachelor's eve.
