As the 'Year of the Memes' is nearing its end, It looks like there's another meme coin that suddenly became a buzz after Elon Musk tweeted it out for Christmas.

Santa Floki (HOHOHO), the BEP20 token on the Binance Smart Chain, has seen a 3,944% surge over the past few days.

The surge in coin prices came after Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted a photo of his Shiba Inu puppy, Floki, on a tweet.

Musk's tweet instantly went viral. The image is accompanied by a caption that reads “Floki Santa”, corresponding to the name of the cryptocurrency.

Santa Floki was created by a developer under the pseudonym Parabolic8 with the aim of making this cryptocurrency a charitable project on the Binance Smart Chain network.
