Today, we prepare the area for what will become a foundation for our Duplex Family Dwelling.

It is kinda fun and weird to be coming out of the house and see so much activity. You can see that I am not the only nosey neighbour. And, I am learning there is a noticeable amount of waiting and coordinating the next step in the building process.

In the next image we see a growing pile of dirt and crush rocks that was delivered.

Now it is the end of the work day so I decided to snoop around and take a closer look at the progress. That's a 2-fa-k good looking pad, eh!

A pile of dirt, rocks and a pad. Hmm, not much to see so far...
... but checkout what is going to happen in the next phase of the project.

Yes, its a Concrete Boom Pump Truck. I have been seeing a few of these in the neighbourhood. I remember a time there were only a few houses and a large forest behind me.

Back in 1981, I knew there was going to be a lot of development coming but I didn't have the concerns of someone building next to me. This is because my house is on a turn, a corner lot where lots beside me box me in.

ok, that's it for now. I leave a series log with links to previous blogs.
