House Construction Series - August 21, 2026

The work continues. We see the Concrete Boom Pump Truck getting setup to pump the cement into the prepared footing for the foundation.

It's an awesome day and a pleasure to see such a great start.

The cement truck went to get a second load.

Here we can see the operator with a remote control for the boom.

And now we see the cement in the footing form curing to concrete. Its a beautiful clear sky day and I can tell they are taking advantage of good weather. Rain is coming on the weekend, possibly on Monday.

The area will be painted to mark where the plumbing lines will connect to the city water and sewer lines.

At first I was thinking the house would be on a slab like the white house we see in the above photo. With a four foot concrete wall I am now thinking it could be much higher then the previous house. Which means a change in how I enjoy the sun. Lots of possibilities coming .

After taking photos for the last couple of days I am doing more thinking about getting a surveillance camera setup on my house. May get a weather station as well and maybe set something up. Will see.

Well, that's all for now so lets see what the next day brings.
