My Entry for Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 374 - Ti Shadows - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Warm greetings fellow shadow hunters! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I had intended to publish this post last night, but sadly that didn't flow, though here it is now! For my entry in Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 374, I'd like to share a nice batch of photos that I took late yesterday afternoon, of some sweet sun-and-shadow play on the leaves of some ti plants growing next to a trail next to the Landing. I was juggling a lot yesterday, so I'm happy that I was able to find and capture these before sunset.

Ti plants, which are very common here, and in myriad color combinations, are quite photogenic plants, especially when they have sunlight dancing on them, so I find myself taking photos of them quite often. The most beautiful effect occurs when their leaves are backlit by the sun, which makes their glorious colors positively glow. This variety has a more muted, bronze color, but that doesn't make them any less lovely! I hope that you appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
