On what operating system were you setting up the printers? Given some of the challenges configuring printers on various computers and OSes, I give you props for doing it 12 times in such a short time. Hehehe...I haven't had candy like that in ages, but I did used to love it when I was a kid. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

The challenge was that the printers are old, from the early 2010's. They were/are expensive and the client (understandably) does not want to replace them. Trying to get them to function with windows 11 isn't optimal. The client expected me to finish in an hour, but it took over three hours! Not because I was slacking, it was a big task.
The candy was a nice treat! have to be careful not to eat to much too quickly! I'm keeping it hidden away for special occasions.

Oh, OK. Yeah, older printers like that and Windows 11 doesn't sound like much fun. I gave up on Windows years ago, and I don't think that I've even used Windows 11. Your experience with the printers reminds me about how often I offer to help someone do something technical, which should be easy, but ends up taking far longer, and with more effort, than expected.
I like that way of doing it, saving it for special occasions. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Good plan. Not a fan of Windows 11. I am very suspicious of the integrated "Copilot Vision" AI service, whose stated feature is "seeing what you see." The claim is that no human will have direct access, but still. "It's like screen sharing with a friend". A friend huh. What happens when your "friend" sees something it doesn't agree with?
Exactly, I heard about that AI, and what it does on people's computers, and I wouldn't trust it at all. I watched the video. Aside from being very creepy, the constant questions that it asks would drive me crazy! Linux and BSDs all the way! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
