Why?

because onboarding still sucks and user experience. So many chances to come big, not a single one if used.

If you hold big stake in Hive, vote and support scaling and user experience and dont spread soy if you want huge success.

Just saying, also think about the broken POB algo.

Like I told since years, no rewards are better as "unfair feeling" rewards. Special since it works more as a donation and not a real reward for good content.

I mean good content means engagement. LMAO.

Hive needs to become a neutral information carrier without rewards in the medium term. Sure the "top authors will cry, but stakeholders should think about it.

If mastodon finds a way to monetize infrastructure, would be the worst case for hive.

yes by donations (4343 nodes) and 8 million users. Starts 2017. So it scales better than Hive.

More servers hosts it then hive. Tokens don't matter because tokens are the reason for decentralization/ payment.

So yeah, hive is pretty yesterday since no changes on account creation are made.

The core value is a "human readable ledger".

But yeah whatever.

I saw Elon talking about it but I think he is trying to prevent people from going to their competitor's sites. Either way, from the wording on what he said, I think it's only if you are promoting things directly but who knows if they will ever stretch out the rules to fit their opinions.
