Do Love At First Sight Still Exist?

This topic really get as e be if I'm to say it in our slang here in Nigeria, It is really a two way thing because even love is somehow going into extinction especially in this century and what is going on around us or should I say based on what I see daily. Don't get me wrong, Love is a beautiful thing just like how Johhny drille sang it in Romeo and Juliet song. Back in the days during the time of our fore fathers, love is something of value, something that is really tangible and I can say love at first sight really exist during those days, I might not be alive back then but I have heard stories from old people, also saw some olden days movies which portray things that mostly happened in the past, I do see how they fall in love with a lady at first sight and stick to that love to the very end, doing everything in their power to win the lady and treat her right and most of them fell in love later on and eventually get married, My grandfather once told us a story on how he met his wife which was love at first sight and how they end up meeting mostly under the village tree at night and so on.

Let come down to our new world that is turning to what we don't even have an explanation for, I do believe love at first sight still exist though but it is very rare like 10%, what is left now is infatuation ( a short admiration for someone) or lust (a strong sexual desire), even the lust outweigh any other thing, you rarely see a guy admire a lady for the first time without a backup agenda or discussion. Out of the 10% which is rare, I will be saying love at first sight exist because I have experience it once, some years ago when i entered the university, I was running about trying to do my registrations, we were many in the hall that day waiting for our turns so we all sat down in groups with people we know then all of a sudden, i noticed a lady having a discussion with her friends and I was attracted to her but can't really figured out why, maybe because she was fair in complexion or how she talked, I tried listening to their discussion though but i didn't move an inch or try to talk to her, I just take my mind of it and left the hall, then after some days, I came across her again then later saw her in class, even though I was attracted to her, I didn't say a word to her until I find out she was in my department whatsapp group, we talked for a while before I dmed her and to cut it short, we became friends sha.

There are lot of things that can cause love at first sight and one of it is physical attraction, we all have a spec or things we want in the opposite gender, things we admire, once we notice this things we tend to develop interest in the person immediately and most times it can be a little while. The chemistry between you two can also be a factor, there are some people we will meet for the first times and we way you guys communicate or connect with each other can trigger this things, it will be like you guys have known each other for a long time, also having the same common interest and life goals also triggered this things and before you know it, you are already head over heels with this person. Just that not all love at first sight end well or end in a long lasting relationship and that do hurt a lot.
