At this point when it come to my country, we are almost at the verge of giving up or should I just say we already given up while everyone is minding their business finding means to survive even when things aren't going smoothly anymore, the whole situation is kinda giving a drought or famine vibes because it is looking like it already since every goods and services price have skyrocketed and they keep saying it is because of scarcity. This wasn't the deal or how we hope things will be, even if it is a stolen mandate yet he still promise us good things but it is now the other way around.

First of all, No job out there with a good pay, even most workers are just working because they just need to feed, at least it is better than staying at home, earning in foreign currency is somehow hard because there are ban coming in from every corners, fuel is overpriced and now we have to enduring the state of foodstuff which is becoming unbearable, tell me why I have to get 8 strand of tiny scotch bonnet (rodo) for 500 naira like wise tiny tomatoes too. The last time I visited the market just because I want to make pepper sauce, I almost shout at the pepper seller that what is he even selling because I was shocked, on a norms, to make pepper sauce, I won't spend up to 2000 and it will still last for 3days but this time around I had to spend 2x the normal price and it finished the next day, now expenses is way greater than income yet someone still need to save and invest.

I have scroll through insta feed to day and I was just seeing wonders on how people are already creating alternatives to their way of cooking, I once saw someone making soup with carrot by replacing tomatoes with carrot, he blended the carrot at first, then take out the juice(Water part), the made soup with the shaft, I was just saying wonderful, everyone with their own invention, not unless I had to unsee what I saw today, someone made soup with cucumber, like a whole F* cucumber using same blending method, and I was like won't it be bitter because the last time I tried eating cucumber, I gave up after the first bite, just can't imagine how the whole soup experience will taste. The shocking part is that carrot is now getting expensive, now they switch to cucumber which might increase in price soon then what next, maybe orange soup or mango stew 🍲🤣. All I know is that we are done for, eating outside is now way better cooking indoors but what do I know, we will be fine

Lolz, even carrots have gotten expensive bro and nothing is exempted in this price hike of a thing. Even despite using fruits as replacement, doesn't that mean you wouldn't still need pepper???

A lot is happening in Nigeria and just as your topic says, everything happening now will soon become a normal thing in the country.

I don't even want to laugh when I saw the video.

It's funny that when people start diverting their attention to cucumber now, it will become more expensive than before. May God help us.
