The weekend is already here again and I have been really far behind in dropping my splinterlands content for the week, I have been out of vibes for a while now to even write my splinterlands content, I had to check out the splinterland mage secret for the week to know the ruleset giving for the week and to my surprised it was one of the ability people use when they are in a fixed or tight corners. The Holy Protection ruleset was chosen for the week and the main function is to give all monster cards the Divine Shield ability and this take the first attack and turned it to zero, I do see people make use of either a monster card with this ability or Lorna Shine (which is the only summoner with the divine shield ability) during battle where there is blast or poison effect which is always dangerous and to buff it up, anytime a card with divine shield ability die and got resurrected, it came back with it, this can be an advantage in some battles.

I was really surprised I saw this rule set as quick as possible which is really different from the past two rule set chosen, I had this battle with bloodynecronight in a 43 mana capped match with 3 main rule which are Holy Protection which I talk about earlier, Armoured Up which give extra 2 amour to all monster cards and lastly is the Aim True which allow every attacks to hit their target which make the battle even interesting and to top it all, we could picked from any element except life and dragon element. At first, I don't know what to choose but along the line, I decide to pick water element since i have rented the max backfire summoner already, So I had to pick up my best cards using Diemonshark as my frontline which is at level 7 and this show the 3 main ability which is the Trample which dealt extra damage anything it destroy a card, Enrage which increase the melee and speed stats when damage and lastly is the Retaliate which have the chance to attack a melee card when hit. I support it with Flying Squid which is a high stat melee card with the Reach which allow it to attack from the second position and also blind which when applied allow melee and range card to miss this card but this is rendered useless by the True Aim ruleset.

I decided to pick up Deepluker with the opportunity and poison ability just to make the battle more dangerous and interesting and moreover it is a good stat cards but no amour, I stop using melee card and decided to pick my some strong based magic cards so I picked Nerrissa Tridawn with no ability but strong magic attack and health, Venari Wavesmith with low stats but protect to add extra amour and dispel to cancel all positive buff on the target card and lastly is Doctor Blight one of the feared low mana cap monster card from the neutral. realm with some amazing abilities like Affliction which prevent target from healing, poison, camouflage which make it invisible until it reach the first position and lastly Scavenger which gain 1 health anything a monster card die. I was really ok with my setup so I had to submit and wait for my opponent

I was surprise with his setup, he came prepared and even make use of Baakjira just to buff it up with a weapons training card but by dispel card really magic and remove the positive buff, he will surely be surprised I can make use of that card to spoil his plan, that actually game me some upper hand in this battle, the battle lasted for 6 round while I crush all his cards till it remain 2 range cards against two magic cards while I take control of the battle field and won fearlessly.
