Lecturers, Lost Money, and the Struggle to Survive School

Even though school life is fun just like they used to say but it is 60% tiring but we really can't complain about it, anytime you did, some people will jokingly reply you with "who send you" and they are actually right because we are the ones chasing good grades/certificates with the hope of getting a good job in the future. School is like a furnace one needs to pass through, different lectures which do take hours and lecturers don't care whether you understand or not (sometimes, our heads feel hot as if bringing out smoke), then there are assignments just to keep us busy at home and at the end of the day, lecturers won't read the assignment but take out the names just to give points (why not just use attendance).

Two things almost made me give up as a student, first was how lecturers do find joy in failing students, our major problem was biochemistry, I studied physiology and I do wonder why we needed to add biochemistry course to it, anatomy department decided they wouldn't add biochemistry to their course and their lecturer supported them but our own lecturer didn't care at all, they just told us to carry on. Even though most of us did it reluctantly and the fact that their lecturer won't come to class but send us their handout for us to write and read on our own and anytime they are in class to lecture, they were not bothered if we could hear them or not, during exams they brought out questions that weren't in line with the course outline and even when we are sure of our answers, they still fail us woefully.

It was almost too tiring, imagine trying your best to graduate with good grades but there are some lecturers lurking in the shadows and joyfully draining your grades bit by bit. The second aspect was when I found it hard to pay my school fees because I was trying to double the money, not through sport betting or ponzi schemes but through a guy who said he is good with forex trading and with some capital he can trade it and get a 100% interest in a month and I fell for it since It isn't yet time to pay the school fee, I was like before the school fee time elapse, I would have made it back and still have enough money with me to do other things but I received the shocking news ever when the guy stopped picking my calls and putting me on read, after many attempt to reach him, he said he over trade and lost the capital. My eyes cleared and I was confused on what to do, After some weeks with no positive result, I started thinking of either breaking the news to my mom or start drafting a semester break letter but someone stepped in to loan me the money which I paid back.

School is really full of ups and downs and at some point, it can push students in a tight corner where they don't know what to do anymore and start considering giving up, no one really had it that easy in school
