The Urge In Renting Monster Cards | Kralus Save The Day

We are 9 days away from the end of another new season, it felt like yesterday when we ended the previous season and there have been a lot going on within splinterlands currently, last season was really cool because after lot of battle struggling and renting I was able to gather 46 chests in total from gold league even though I try ranking up to diamond but couldn't because it seems as if my strategy and cards weren't strong enough especially when it come to summoners, it reach an extend I was just see different high mana legendary summoners used by my opponent in battle and when I decide to rent, the prices were really high and I just have to manage what I have but I was able to get some good rewards when I opened the chest and up to 42 sps which sum my total sps rewards last season to around 180-200sps.

There have been lot of things going on recent on splinterland that have been putting some players in the baffle mood, that is after the 2 recent proposal came to live about bot or no bot removal, I was just in the middle, because I almost laugh when I saw the proposal and the discussion behind it, it really took me a while before I know bot user actually exist, I was thinking maybe most players that defeat me were really good in battle and that always intimidate me, at times if I suffered too much lost continuously, I always close the page and engage in something else and most times, I only enjoy the battle when it is few days to end of season since most bot users would have ranked up except those battling for leaderboard reward. It was as if almost everyone make use of bot and this bot is so good because it suggesting and give hint to the user about the possible cards to use and win each battle selections. I think currently there is no bot in modern ranked battle (don't know if it is implement yet) but it is good since everyone have to think and create strategy manually

I suffered a lot of defeat in this season already because I decide to not really rent some cards with the hope of saving my dec till some days before end of season but I kept on losing battle and my rating drop down to bronze level, I had this battle after renting some cards and I was able to see how strong Kralus card is if paired well enough with some tank heal cards that can heal it on time and prevent it from getting destroyed, this is when byzzantine kitty summoner is really useful but that card renting price in gold league level is around 1000+ dec the highest I have seen so far because the card is really good. So I had the battle which contain 2 ruleset which is Melee Mayhem which allow melee card to attack from any position and Heavy hitters which give the knockout ability, we had 49 mana cap and we could select any element except water so I picked life element and use the gladiator summoner.

I picked Coeurl Lurker as my frontline with the taunt, dodge and phase abilities, Kralus with the double attack and the immune, flying and healing ability, Captain Katie which is a gladiator magic card with the snipe and bloodlust ability which make is exceptional good if it destroy a card, Djinn Renova with the strengthen ability, Venari crystalsmith a range card with the tank heal ability to help support the battle and lastly is Celestial Harpy. Taking such selection was a good one and it really work really well against what my opponent bring on board and it was a victory.

I noticed ranking up and earning really juicy sps and good chest rewards all based on your cards and strategy hence this bring in the urge to rent most cards so as to know which and which to use, I realise I can only reach a certain rating with my normal cards collection except I rent some certain cards to move up and at this point in time, it really worth it since the reward earn from each battle won is around 1-2 sps based on my multiplier, it is a win win situation.
