Things In 20 Years Ago Vs Now

wow going back in time to like 20years ago, hmm I think I was in primary 3 then and to be honest, I really love how things were when it come to community change or should I just say the economy system in my country, well back then I can say my eyes weren't that open to things that I witness now but I can really differentiate my left from my right hands. Back then the internet wasn't this wide even google wasn't that popular and I think youtube was still in the embryo state, the only thing we knew back then was facebook and not everyone have a phone, they only have landlines.

I really won't say things were better then but when compared to how things were now, those days was far more better, unlike now even though we had good internet with lot of development, things are way worse, prices of stuff skyrocketing every day, lack of job employment, high crime rate, high currency exchange rate among other things, even the living can't breathe in peace, If i can really remember, naira to dollar rate back then won't be up to 30-50/1$, we all were living really well based on our means even though the earnings were little but we were all satisfied, I remember how we will spend 20 naira on foods which will satisfy us and we will still collect change, how jobs were easy to get, less fake life, husband and wife understand each other, love/relationships weren't transactional, going to school was more fun and we were taught tangible things unlike now where they now force studies.

Few things that really change which I will love to mention where the Semi-Good roads which were provide and reason why I will say put the Semi was because they aren't up to standard, Majority of these roads can't stand the test of time due to the incompetent materials used in making them, they really want to be a developed country so bad but the corruptions couldn't make them fulfil their goals, Social amenities were created to ease the well being of the citizens but there were no plans in place to maintain it, health system zero, and the only opportunities the citizens find to earn legally will be soon taken away or made useless with different unnecessary tax implementations.

In short, the change we were expecting in the period of 20years isn't here at all, it has worsen and if it is left to me, I will gladly stick with how things were in those days and live life the way it is than picking how things were now over things in 20 years ago
