Problems with card payment system in Germany (Dystopian Meme)
Softwareprobleme sorgen für Probleme bei Kartenzahlungen in Deutschland, ist euch das auch aufgefallen?
In einer TK Maxx Filiale in Österreich gab es auch eine Woche lang Probleme mit den Terminals, weiß aber nicht, ob das mit dem Softwarefehler zusammenhängt.
Finde das Meme passend, aber auch erschreckend, stellt euch vor, die Regierung würde aufgrund von Tweets Kartenzahlungen/Konten einfach so einfrieren.
Leider bereits Realität.
Zum Beispiel in Kanada. Ohne richterlichen Beschluss wurden Konten von friedlichen Demonstranten und deren Unterstützern eingefroren.
Kryptobörsen haben nach dem Ukraine-Krieg begonnen, willkürlich Konten von russischen Usern einzufrieren. Angeblich wegen "Illicit Activity".

Software issues are causing problems with card payments in Germany, have you noticed this too?
In a TK Maxx store in Austria there were also problems with the terminals for a week, but don't know if that is related to the software bug.
Find the meme fitting but also scary, imagine if the government would freeze card payments/bank/crypto accounts just like that because of some tweets.
Sadly already a reality.
For example, in Canada. Without a court order, accounts of peaceful protesters and their supporters were frozen.
Crypto exchanges have started to arbitrarily freeze accounts of Russian users after the Ukraine war. Allegedly for "Illicit Activity."
Social Credit System in China.
Dystopia. Like in Black Mirror.

War bei uns in Deutschland sehr verbreitet. Hab in den letzten Tagen dreimal schon Bargeld abheben müssen, weil vielerorts Kartenzahlung nicht möglich war.
Aber ein Gutes hat es am Ende doch. Es ist anonym 😁
Die Tatsache, dass Börsen Konten einfrieren können, ist für mich eines der Gründe, weshalb ich sie meide. Leider kann selbst ich, noch nicht ganz auf sie verzichten aber ich hoffe auf weitere dezentrale Lösungen. Mehr Bitcoin Automaten oder LightnigATM-Möglichkeiten, an welchen man ohne KYC Bargeld zu Coin tauchen kann.

Krass, dass die Terminals so lange bei euch ausgefallen sind. Lightning ATM ist cool :)
Crypto have been the saving point in eradicating financial issues at the moment and if they should froze such accounts there would be massive problem wfuch they should take note of.

It's a funny meme but you're right about it being a bit scary as well. Its all too real feeling.
Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, ist die Software tadellos. Da ist nur ein Zertifikat abgelaufen und muss erneuert werden. Der amerikanische Hersteller hätte es vorgezogen, neue Geräte zu verkaufen statt ein Zertifikatsupdate zu installieren, zumal das Update nicht einfach online geht sondern physischen Zugriff auf das Terminal erfordert (was ja irgendwie auch ganz gut ist).
Haha, wiedereinmal ein Zertifikatsproblem und anscheinend schwer zu updaten und Hersteller will neue Geräte verkaufen 😂
Na ja, sie haben die Geräte noch bis Mitte 2021 verkauft und dann für 2023 das Support-Ende angekündigt. Es ist so frech, dass ich es schon originell finde. Die Betroffenen haben wohl weniger zu lachen. 😎
What is happening is just a very well organized plan. It is what a Noam Chomsky would say a trick between i create to you a problem and then i offer you a solution! This what happened to my country from 2010 with financial crisis. Back then, teir were some voices, who said that the economic extermination which took place in Greece, was just the beginning of would be happening in the rest of the world. It was like experiment. They study how how you turn a "reactionary" people into a docile one. Why i write all these, because i live in a society where in your daily life greeks called to pay the most expensive electric bill, the most expensive gasoline in Europe due to the high taxes. Taxes which wouldnt end back to society but in central banks! Debt is never reduced, it is just an accounting entry, where it is constantly increasing due to interest. Same time, greeks looks like be hypnotized and dont complain about it. Could you imagine the cost of your life, triple? Do you know any country that does not have a national debt? What do you think will happen in European countries, for example, on the occasion of sanctions in Russia? On carbon emissions? On the occasion of a new pandemic? My brother, in view of all these technological changes that will reshape societies, they are doing everything possible to enslave you. In any case, nice post as always!

It's something that I hate to see but it's one thing I see the current systems enacting to maintain their control. Technology has improved our lives and given us things like crypto but it can also be used to enforce their rules on us.
