I was the Wojak. Some nights I still am.
You know the one. Red eyes, little frown, hands over the face. For a
long time I thought it was just a funny picture. Then I caught myself
at 3am staring at a chart that had already told me everything hours
earlier, and I realized the meme wasn't funny. It was a mirror.
I bought the top because everyone I followed sounded so sure. I sold
the bottom because I couldn't take being down and alone. I did the
exact opposite of the plan I'd written out calmly a week earlier and
I did it with total conviction both times. The wojak wasn't some other guy. He was me, at my worst, with a phone.
What changed wasn't that I got smarter. I still can't call tops. What
changed is I let the Wojak be funny again. When the panic comes now, I imagine that crying little face and I LOL, because I know where that road goes. I've driven it. No treasure at the end, just a worse entry and a story I'm embarrassed to tell.
Maybe that's the point of a token like this. Not a promise to get rich. A reminder not to be the Wojak when it counts. Size small enough that 3am doesn't own you. Trust the plan you wrote when you were calm.
I'm not posting this to flex a win. I don't really have one yet. I'm
posting it because a lot of us are quietly the Wojak and pretending
we're the Chad, and maybe it helps to just say it plainly, that it's okay. Laugh at the little guy. Then go do the boring, steady thing anyway.
If you've been the Wojak too, I'd like to hear your real story, not
the highlight reel.

That 3am feeling is honestly the worst part of the whole experience. It takes a lot of guts to admit that the panic usually leads nowhere good.
