My Actifit Report Card: April 18 2025 | A special date with my little beloved

Greeting Hive worlds and fellow Actifit champs! It's me again, Iris from East Java Indonesia. I am a working mom of a very energetic boy with a mind full of wonder that often becomes my personal trainer to keep me moving and getting fit 😁.

Yesterday I got a day off because it was a public holiday in observance of Good Friday. Since I was sick last week, I didn't have enough energy to go for our usual adventures. So yesterday we went all out and I took him for a fun and nice playdate.

Ever since he was a baby, my boy has always loved water. Whenever he was cranky or impossible to handle, I just let him play with water and I got some peace for about 30 minutes at least. So in the morning, we washed my bike together. Even if it was actually meant for me to wash the bike and him to play with the hose and soap, while occasionally turned into a firefighter.

After that, we got some little picnic at the communal soccer field in my household. It was actually an empty plot of space that was still on sale. There was a hut for workers and builders to rest in the corner of with a makeshift bench from a tree branch. Since it was a public holiday, it was empty and we had our lunch there. Since he always needed to release his abundant energy, he loved running around in that field. Though, whenever I tried to play soccer with him, he still didn't show any interest. I guess he just needs to run, and climb, and explore his surroundings.

However, unfortunately it suddenly rained pretty hard so we had to go home. These days the weather was so unreliable. Even if it was nice and clear in the morning, we could suddenly got storm coming in the afternoon. So, after he took a nap, I brought him to the nearby playground.

It was a new place, perhaps only open for about 2 months, so even though yesterday was a holiday, the place was relatively empty.
It was quite big for a playground and the entrance fee was also very cheap, only about $3 USD for a full day playtime.

It has a big ball pit, slides, and even a tube slide with a simple gymnastics course for the kids to climb, balance, and crawl. The playground also had a lego station, reading corner, movie corner, role play activity, silicone sand pit, and many more. We spent around almost 4 hours there running and playing together.

It also has a cafe on the mezzanine floor above where parents can rest while supervising their kids downstairs. However, the most favorite part of the playground for my boy is the sand pit because he is obsessed with construction truck. I thought he spent about more than 2 hours playing in the sand pit.

I didn't get a lot of photos because most of the time we were too busy playing around. Those were taken from the cafe when I ordered our dinner from above. We ended our playdate with having dinner together and spent the rest of the day at home.
