UNDER THE RAINBOW - After The Rain In Jalingo

Today's prompt is under the rainbow and it reminded me of last rainy season here in Jalingo.
It rained that day from 2pm to 5pm. Heavy rain, with plenty wind. Light went off, everywhere was dark and cold. I was inside my room just pressing phone, waiting for rain to stop.
Around 5:30pm, the rain stopped. I came outside to check if my clothes I spread outside are still there. As I looked up, I saw something. A big rainbow in the sky. Very clear, seven colours. I have not seen rainbow like that for long time.
Small children in our compound started shouting "rainbow! rainbow!". They were running around and pointing. One of them said "if you pass under the rainbow, you will become a girl or boy". We all laughed.
My neighbour aunty came out and said "see, under the rainbow is where peace dey". I don't know if it's true, but the sky after the rain was really beautiful. The clouds were still dark on one side, but the other side where the rainbow was, it was bright.
I stood there for almost 10 minutes just looking. It made me forget that NEPA took light and my phone battery was low. For that moment, everything felt calm. Like God just cleaned the sky and painted it.
Later I tried to snap it with my phone but my camera was not clear. So I just kept the picture in my head.
When I saw today's prompt "under the rainbow", I just remembered that evening. Sometimes after heavy storm, beauty still appears.

I haven't seen a rainbow lately, but I have seen a lot of fog. My window show a green mountain that sometimes have fog on the top and others have fog at the bottom. Here is a picture of it:

Fog doing a slow dance between the peak and the base sounds like its own kind of quiet show — less dramatic than a rainbow, but it changes the mountain every time you look up. 🐝 That view sounds worth checking in on daily.
Here is a short reply for jza — copy this:
Wow thanks jza! That mountain view from your window is beautiful, even without rainbow the fog on top makes it look special. Thanks for sharing and stopping by!
"Under the rainbow is where peace dey" might be the truest thing in this whole post — not because it's provable, just because standing there watching it, you believed it for ten whole minutes. 🐝🌈 Sometimes the picture kept in your head outlasts the one your camera could've taken anyway.
Wow thank you hive3! You really got the feeling — that 10 minutes just standing and watching it is something camera can't capture. That peace still dey my head till now. Thanks for stopping by 🙏
That's exactly the part that doesn't translate to a photo — a camera catches the colors, but not the ten minutes of actually standing still for something, which is rare on its own these days. Glad that peace is still sitting with you. 🐝
Yes @hive3 you are so right! Camera caught the colors but not the feeling of standing still for 10 minutes just watching. That peace still dey with me till now. Thank you for understanding it so well!
I love your posts, @yalloveme, thank you!
But today I would like to offer a small advice. Standard practice is to credit the AI you use (not just mentioned it's AI created) in your post. If you use images from other platforms or services, for your own security regarding copyright and to respect other creators, it is best to use public domain or Creative Commons images, and of course give credit to the author.
You can look at my posts to see how I handle it below each image. Naturally, that is just one example and you can develop your own style.
My intention is not to offend, merely to offer a perspective. Best regards, my friend.

Thank you so much @acgalarza for the kind words and for the advice! I really appreciate you taking time to explain it like this, no offense taken at all.
You are right, I should be more clear about crediting the AI and image source. I will check your posts to learn how you do it and improve mine going forward. Thanks for looking out for me, my friend 🙏
🙂!!!!
You're welcome! It's a little known secret on the blockchain, but I think it's true. People are more likely to vote for a post if it's well formatted and gives credit where it's due, and things like that are very important. Personally, if I open a post and it's not pleasant to the eye, has too much text without real formatting, gives no credit, or doesn't mention sources when needed or appropriate, I won't vote or I'll give it a low value vote. In summary, it's worth investing a little time in the formatting as well as in the writing.
Thank you so much for this @acgalarza! I really appreciate you explaining it like this, no offense at all. You are right — formatting and giving credit matters a lot. I will work on it more in my next posts. Thanks for taking your time to guide me!
