An HPUD for April Fools

Hive Block Explorer reports that my upvote value has dropped to $0.0169. This is a big psychological blow as I had wrapped my ego around having an upvote worth more that two pennies.
Since my upvote has fallen below the minimum payout for a post, I can no longer upvote comments.
I have 6,722 HP (10,968,771 VESTS).
Because I am feeling sad, I decided to do a power up for the April Fools #HPUD. I pulled some funds that I invested in TribalDex liquidity pools. I just did a power up of 61.130 HIVE.
This raised my account to 6,783. My upvote is worth $0.017.
I thought about buying another 2,000 HIVE. I stopped myself when I checked Ausbit Bank. This page shows that we are still paying 14% interest on HBD. HBD market capitalization has fallen below $10M. As I recall, we are paying about $100,000 interest a month on staked HBD.
$100,000 HBD converts to about 1.7 million HIVE.
A person would have to be a raging lunatic to buy HIVE when the system is spewing 1.7 million HIVE on the market each month to pay the HBD debt.
The whales killed the platform when they started paying stupid high interest on HBD.
HIVE is not the first organization that succumbed to debt. I guess the HIVE whales wanted to prove that debt on a blockchain has the same effect as debt on real markets.
These arrogant fools killed a wonderful platform.
I am Being Downvoted
I am being downvoted because I argued against the HBD interest grift and tweaked the ego of a whale in the process.
I decided to divert my attention back to my twitter account. I had a big following back in the day. I am trying to rebuild my account. I am happy to follow back.
It is surprising. X is now a better platform for free speach than HIVE or SteemIt.
