Cops should be bonded, independent contractors subject to full liability for their acts, but even then, people that seek power over others will always be a problem.

Though I don't see anything in the CONstitution that says anything about having a military or a private police force owned by the banks. I'm definitely not against organizing a security and well armed organization that could be voluntarily funded. But like you said people will seek positions of power over others so there would have to be lots of counter checks systems and operatives. Keeping everyone in line and transparency. Lots of transparency. No negotiations about that. Detective working agents is still a requirement because, bad people will continue to exist regardless if there is a government or not. 1 in ever 30 people are born psychopaths, not that all will be psychopathic killers of those 1 of 30, but they will be temptations. Mayhaps parents outta scan for those signs early on as they grow up. Like no forehead lines, practicing facial emotions in a mirror of faces they seem throughout he day, etc. and then give them the help they need to be a contributing.emver of society.

I'd suspect that folks would get insurance, and the insurance agents in hopes of not getting lynched for being fraudsters, would keep a tight rein on any bonds and insurance policies.
What has to happen is to free the people to be the hidden hand.
Then, when folks harm other folks, there will be swift justice.
And, yes, we could screen the children now, but the control freaks don't want a peaceful world, then we would buy no tomahawk missles.
In one of Kurt's books he tells a story of a king that rules by consent that can be terminated at will by the population by pushing the button on the statue at city center and blowing up the exploding necklace that the king wears.
In it, he says that kids are screened for psychopathy and dealt with accordingly.
But, I've failed at finding it.
I've been looking for it for awhile.
LOL! The cops probably get nervous in James Freeman's presence, because they probably think he's somehow connected with their Internal Affairs Division and, at the end of the day, they know that they themselves don't have squeeky clean slates as officers of the law.
Any who seek power over others are the last people you want to give power to, imo.
Cops should be licensed, bonded, insured private contractors, and subject to strict liability just like any other worker.
Or, disarmed.
I vaguely recall as a little kid that at one point in time, British police officers were not allowed to carry guns, but rather they were only allowed to carry billy clubs or nightsticks during their police duties.
It's still that way, just they have armed patrols now, too.
They are special units, but the bobbies, afaik, are still night stick and kick your ass if you act out.
They don't hand out time like they do over here, though.
Yeah, I know that the criminal courts over in the United Kingdom are not as harsh on defendants as they are here in the United States. Then again, British judges are not as tolerant to prosecutorial misconduct as American judges are. British judges also let all parties have their equal say in a criminal trial, whereas American judges may slant their actions in favor of the prosecution and there are no consequences for them if they do so. That is why our prison system here in the United States is overcrowded and overwhelmed with serious problems, and the powers that be of the prison-industrial complex don't care as long as they're making their money off of other people's misery.
