Reaching two and a half months in the life of Memehive Curation Contest, I consider it proper to give some updates as to the development of the contest regarding rewards and guidelines.

Rewards

At this time, the contest has three sponsors awarding MEME, PEPE, and PAY. In the case of MEME, the token is sent to the Hive Engine wallet of the winners in liquid form. They can decide to power them up or swap them for HIVE. In the case of PEPE, during the last two weeks, the incentives were distributed in the form of delegation. This will increase your stakes and will also increase your voting power when you upvote meme articles using the #PEPE tag. I am still waiting for the response of @pepetoken if he intends to continue the delegation or switch back to the liquid form. As for PAY, @antisocialist prefers to distribute the token as powered up. It is up to the recipients whether he or she will keep the tokens powered up or will unstake the tokens and later swap them for HIVE.

So far, the sponsors have already distributed 146,000 MEME, 240,000 PEPE, and 135,000 PAY to run this curation contest. Moreover, 190,000 PEPE have been delegated so far. In PAY's case, I still have 116,500 in my Hive Engine wallet sent by @antisocialist to fund this contest. The rewards will last three weeks more.

All in all, the rewards are as follows:

• 1st place: 5,000 MEME, 50,000 PEPE (delegated or liquid), and 15,000 powered-up PAY

• 2nd place: 2,500 MEME, 25,000 PEPE (delegated or liquid), and 7,500 powered-up PAY.

• 3rd place: 1,500 MEME, 10,000 PEPE (delegated or liquid), and 5,000 powered-up PAY.

• 2 consolation prizes of 1,000 MEME, 5,000 PEPE (delegation or liquid), and 3,000 powered-up PAY each.

Guidelines

• Posts published using the MemeHive community deserve preference.

• The #MEME tag should be included in the first five tags. Posts that are exceptional in quality can be exempted from this rule.

• Image originality or proper credit, and a 50-word explanation.

• Underappreciated meme creators will be given preference over articles that have already received a substantial amount of curation reward from their respective tribes.

• In engagement, the number of comments is given more weight than upvotes and reblogs.

• Humorous and meme-themed posts are given priority over general content.
