Hello and welcome to Hive Music Festival Week 139, Round 1. My name is @rishagamo, I am here with my boss @oluthomas and together we will be singing the cover "Love (Me Na Yi Daka So Ni Haka)" by Kaestrings.
God’s love for us is unconditional; He has loved us even before we loved Him. Even when we go astray, God still welcomes us back with open hands anytime we call on Him and ask for forgiveness.
The song “Love (Me Na Yi Daka So Ni Haka)” resonates with the unconditional love God has for us; the writer is simply asking a rhetorical question. In reference to the lyrics of the song, the songwriter expresses how unworthy we are of His love, yet He loves us anyway, showing us blessings from above. There is nothing we can do to make us worthy of His love, yet He loves us anyway. Even when we sin, repent, and still go back to our sins over and over again, He still loves us anyway.
The song also reminds us that true love isn’t about give and take; true love should be unconditional. We shouldn’t love because of what we can get in return. We should always show love to others even when we don’t get love back in return. Love shouldn't be a transaction or quid pro quo. Love should be given to others as a gift, asking for nothing in return.
