Rising Star Meme #72 - Have You Set Your Goals, Yet?

When I first got my Millionaire's card, I was so thrilled. What I did earn throughout one or two entire days of grinding could be earned in half an hour. I thought I was set for my Rising Star journey, but as you know, when you reach a certain milestone, other horizons are opened up to you, so there was me thinking about what I could do with my "newfound" horizons 🤔

Making a Game

And there was it. Just how Splinterlands got me into Hive and Rising Star hooked me, I decided to start saving up to make another game - which is still a task in progress. I'd need some physical equipment as well as some digital whitelisting and such...

But that's not the point... the thing is...

Set Your Goals

Now, it doesn't have to be making a game or anything big. Just small steps will do.

• First step for me was to get the Milly card and I did - increasing my earnings per day by +10K SB.
• Then it was to earn a constant 10K SB from the missions - that happened as well.
• And after day 5K increments of earning overtime, just little by little I grow my influence.

If you don't set and check your goals, you'll be confused and lose sight of what path you're on.
I'm also a fan of "powering through" and "the more, the better" ideas, but having your goals set helps you have a better insight into your overall journey.

For those hard-headed fellas out there - who are pretty much like me - I have a tip! You can do what I do - quite simple and effective. Set a goal for your daily/weekly earnings and once you hit it, let it be open sesame!!

Once I hit my daily earning quote, it's either me earning more before the reset, stacking skills, promoting Fanclub, etc... whatever you like, the game offers lots of options, y'know.

As for me

I'm powering through every day and trying to maximize my SB earnings - half of which goes to buying packs, like increasing my HP, and the other half is sold or kept for future "expenses".

Expenses could be anything from the physical equipment I'm getting for the game I make to the BEEs I'm stacking to create my token and other Hive Engine utilities.

Some Final Words

Hive is Fragile! So is RSG!! Be nice to them!!!

We are the community behind the blockchain - those keeping it alive. My motto, for now, is "From Hive, For Hive". Everything I make right now is kept on the chain for the betterment of Hive itself. Very little might be withdrawn in the case of an emergency which, fortunately, hasn't occurred yet.

The same thing could be said about RSG itself, if everyone started selling, it wouldn't be long before the game collapses! Though, with the way things are going, that's a far cry, but not entirely impossible.

I see it as a duty(?) to keep the things in order and progressing the best I could, and I invite you, not to do it as a 'duty' or 'chore', but as a habit of sorts without even knowing! Just needs a bit of practicing and that'd be it!!
