A proof that too much of a good thing can change the feeling

I was was watching this supposedly funny monkey video on YouTube where someone kept giving it grapes. At first, the monkey was happy, but then the monkey became unhappy, irritated and started moving away from the guy giving grapes. Think about it, the good thing coming way too much became a problem.

At some point, you stop getting joy from something positive because you keep receiving positive things in excess. The grape is still a grape, the hand giving the grape is still a friendly hand, but something in the monkey has changed.
This is often not what we show on our faces, that is where the only difference lies.
A person can continue to give to someone and not notice when the other person starts to close up. The giver keeps giving because it feels like the right thing to do for the giver and may feel generous or love. These are all true, but that can still be too much.
I don't know why it is so hard to talk about, because it kind of sits in a delicate area of generosity, greed and getting more than you can handle. It can be awkward to tell someone their kind action has become too much. People are often quite and they will continue to receive kind actions but inside themselves, there are small things that begin to build up. That's why for me, I usually mostly help when I'm asked too. I'll do it impulsively but not over do it.
The monkey did not remain quiet, that is what made it funny to watch and initially a little awkward.
There is the question of what this feels like to the giver is probably something worth considering.
