I must warn you from the start that I’m a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and one of the mottos I tend to bring up whenever a Government or private company offers some kind of benefit is this one:

Think the worst and you'll be right.

For some not-so-strange reason, people feel uneasy about certain public policies, and I truly understand why.

After all, once classified documents were released, it was discovered, for example, that the United States government conducted non-consensual experiments on citizens of its Associated State, Puerto Rico, and even within its own borders, on homeless individuals and those with mental deficiencies.

That said, I must also clarify that I’m aware of the need for vaccines. Like all medicines, vaccines are not harmless, and a portion of the population will experience adverse effects.

Most people will benefit, and that’s a good thing—but it’s still concerning, as public health decisions often involve information most people can’t fully grasp due to the complexity involved, which makes it difficult for us to influence them in any meaningful way.

In my neighborhood, we have Anselmito as an example of the importance of timely vaccination, as he suffers the long-term effects of polio, which left permanent damage to his motor skills.

So, I don’t consider myself anti-vaccine. However, I still believe that if “someone” wanted to carry out a kind of global-scale eugenics, the easiest way would be through vaccines—which would take less than two decades.

But wait, that idea actually came from a British TV series called “Utopia”—which, by the way, I recommend—and I wonder whether it’s all part of the plan and already in motion. You know, this story of Negative Priming might even be using conspiracy theories themselves to achieve its goals.

So we’re faced with a dilemma: do we believe that our governments and the WHO genuinely want the best for all of humanity, or do we believe they’re working together to “control” the global population—because, like it or not, we live in a world where resources are finite…

That means we don’t have many options, friends: to believe or not to believe, that is the question. And those who have young children will have to face the difficult task of deciding as rationally as possible, relying on trustworthy sources and trying not to be swayed by all the fake news circulating online—whether to vaccinate their kids or not, and live with the consequences.

Because that old, popular saying

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

Isn’t always true. Just look around and you’ll see more cases like Anselmito’s, where skipping a vaccine leaves lifelong consequences in the best-case scenario… or ends everything in the worst.

Debo advertir desde el inicio que soy un poco conspiranoica, y que uno de los lemas que suelo traer a colación siempre que algún Gobierno o empresa privada ofrezca algún tipo de beneficio es el siguiente

Piensa mal y acertarás

Por alguna no extraña razón, las personas sienten recelo ante ciertas políticas públicas, y realmente las comprendo.

Luego de que archivos secretos hayan sido desclasificados y se descubriera por ejemplo, que el Gobierno de Estados Unidos experimentó sin consentimiento con ciudadanos de su Estado Asociado Puerto Rico, o incluso dentro de sus propias fronteras, con personas sin hogar y deficientes mentales.

Dicho esto, también debo aclarar que soy consciente de la necesidad de las vacunas, y que como todo medicamento, las vacunas no son inocuas, y existe un porcentaje de la población que sufrirá efectos adversos.

La mayoría obtendrá sus beneficios, y eso es bueno, pero no deja de ser preocupante, ya que las decisiones de salud pública suelen ser una información que la mayoría de personas no podríamos comprender del todo, debido a la complejidad del asunto, y que por lo tanto, difícilmente podríamos incidir en ellas positivamente.

En mi barrio, tenemos a Anselmito como un ejemplo de la importancia de la vacunación en tiempo y forma, ya que él sufre los efectos de la poliomielitis, lo que dejó secuelas permanentes en su motricidad.

Por eso no me considero una antivacunas pero aún así creo, que si "alguien" quisiera realizar una especie de eugenesia a escala mundial, la forma más sencilla sería mediante las vacunas, lo que llevaría menos de 2 décadas.

Pero esperen, esa idea surgió de una serie de televisión británica llamada "Utopía", que dicho sea de paso, se las recomiendo, y me pregunto si no será parte del plan, y que ya esté en marcha, ya saben, esa historia del Primado Negativo bien podría estar sirviéndose hasta de las teorías de conspiración para lograr sus objetivos.

Bueno, estamos ante la disyuntiva de creer que nuestros Gobiernos y la OMS sólo desean el bien de la humanidad en su totalidad, o bien de creer que están trabajando en conjunto para lograr "controlar" la población mundial, ya que lo queramos o no, vivimos en un mundo en el cual los recursos son finitos...

Así que amigos, no tenemos muchas alternativas, creer o no creer, he ahí el dilema, y los que tienen hijos pequeños tendrán que enfrentarse a la difícil tarea de decidir lo más racionalmente posible, basándose en fuentes confiables, y tratando de no dejarse llevar por todas las noticias falsas que pululan en la red, si los vacunarán o no, y atenerse a las consecuencias.

Porque no siempre es cierto ese viejo y popular adagio de que

Lo que no te mata te hace más fuerte.

y si no, miren a su alrededor, y verán más casos como los de Anselmito, en los que la omisión de una vacuna deja sus consecuencias de por vida, en el mejor de los casos, o la siega para siempre en el peor de los escenarios.
