So some think of the Charlie Kirk incident as karma, do you?
A lot of people have alot to say about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, which happened this past Wednesday, September 10th 2025.
He got shot in the neck and the timing was awkward, just when he was about to answer a question on gun violence, he got shot.
Some that hate his very guts celebrate this tragedy, some see it as a bittersweet outcome and some feel bad for him even though they didn't like his opinions and considered it very controversial.
This creator on Tumblr made a post and if you read it, it's obviously bringing back the opinions of Charlie Kirk regarding gun deaths.

A statement Charlie Kirk made and I'll quote,
"I think it's worth it, I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God given rights"
It's hard to defend this, Charlie Kirk did state that some gun deaths are worth it to preserve the Second Amendment and that statement was made during an April 2023 Turning Point USA event in Salt Lake City, Utah. He got shot in Utah too. I don't know if it was an organized assassination to ironically disprove his statement by actually assassinating him but regardless, this was a step too far.
I'm among those who grief over his death because that's not just a man with opinions, he's from a family and has a family.
The Creator continued to ask whether it's Karma if his ten year old daughter experiences the tragedy of rape and has to keep the baby. Clearly the creator was referencing Charlie Kirk's stance on abortion. Meaning in the horrible event, the his daughter gets raped and gets pregnant, she should keep the baby.
I would never wish an experience like that on a ten year old girl, let alone a ten year old girl that has to live the rest of her life knowing that her father got shot. The wife will now be a single parent too.
Saying it’s karma that he got shot might feel satisfying to some that really hated the guy, but it’s not fair. Getting killed is always a tragedy, no matter what someone said or believed in. Sure, his opinion about gun deaths makes the situation look ironic, but calling it justice oversimplifies things.
I look at it from this angle, extreme politics is a very dangerous game and gun violence is costing the lifes of so many people.
We shouldn't forget that violence against someone doesn’t just hurt that person, it makes everybody else more scared and divided. A lesson I learned from this is that the news does control a bit of how we see things. How the news and how people talk about a situation can change perspectives. Some would focus on the irony of the situation, some on how sad it is for a life to be lost and some focus on politics, blaming the other party.
Hate is honestly never a good thing, seeing his death as good only keeps hate going. Some might say it's Karma, but I say, hate leads to tragedy, it always has and always will.
