Today is Deadpool's actual birthday, 0ct 23 2025, Ryan Reynolds

Any Deadpool fans? Well today's a special day because it's the 23rd of October.

Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the youngest of four children. That means today is his birthday.

His father, James Chester Reynolds, was a food wholesaler, and his mother, Tamara Lee "Tammy" (Stewart), worked as a retail store saleswoman.

Can you believe he’s 49 today? The man is nearing 50 years. Arguably one of the funniest actors in our generation. Made a lot of classic movies which will be remembered and loved decades to come. A true honor to Canada.

I quite remember seeing him way back on TV. It was a sitcom called Two Guys and a Girl. He was absolutely great in that show. Then he went on to being in big movies. One of his best, also arguably is The Proposal, quite a classic in the fun romantic movie genre.

Ryan Reynolds might have seen Green Lantern as a flop and the clue is in what he did in the movie Deadpool. He used the timeline machine to go back in time and shoot Ryan Reynolds of Green lantern and said "You're Welcome Canada".

Might be a matter of perspective but most fans would agree when we say Deadpool has to be his greatest or best movie of all time. So great a movie that most people see him more as Deadpool than Ryan Reynolds.

Once again, arguably, but Deadpool is his biggest success. Not that many superheros can blend humor with action as Ryan Reynolds can.

Ryan Reynolds played as the voice of Guy from the animation movie, The Croods.

Ryan has been in so many movies, he started off in comedies, like the silly college film Van Wilder and the super funny fast food flick, "Waiting..." released in 2005. He can do sweet romantic movies too, like the romantic comedy, The Proposal with Sandra Bullock. It’s hard to pick a favorite.

Then he became a big action star. He played the not so great superhero in Green Lantern for a bit, but then he got it totally right with Deadpool and Deadpool 2. Deadpool & Wolverine was a major hit too. Those are his most famous, with all the jokes and action.

More recently, you’ve probably seen him in fun Netflix hits like Red Notice and the time travel movie The Adam Project. Also, he was the voice of the cute little lightning mouse in Detective Pikachu.

What most his fans love about him is how he always brings his own funny character style to every role. He talks fast and can make some of the funniest scenes.

Might be debatable but perhaps, regardless of how boring a movie plot would be, if you make Ryan Reynolds a character, it'll most certainly be interesting.

It's a lot of classics for one guy, right? So celebrate the day if you're a fan or love any of his movies.
