GODS UNCHAINED - WEEKEND EVENT - BACK TO MYTHIC
A lot of time has passed since the last time that I announce that I was in Mythic rank but I am in a pleasant place to announce to you that after a lot of struggle I managed to achieve it. So, after a lot of experiments on the Light deck and the fact that I did not dump it after the early bad results that we reviewed together, I believe that now I can say that this last form is pretty good both in value (my deck costs only $35.70) and it performed incredibly well in the last event as I am going to show you in a little bit. As always we are going to review a couple of battles from the event and also I am going to show you the rewards that I got from the previous run. So kick back relax and enjoy this week's article.

Wish List

Blade of Whiteplain is definitely on my wish list and one of the reasons as you might guess is, of course, the fact that this card gives plenty of draws. As I said before the main problem of this deck is the lack of drawing so my next buy should be a card that will deal with this problem. The only obstacle to my happiness and obtaining this card is the fact that this card costs $280.22 and that's way over my budget. Well nobody stops a man from hoping 😂
Unpacking Rewards
The rewards this time were pretty sweet again and as you would also see there are plenty of Epics again. I found out only one Legendary in the packs, The Nemean Lion. Also, I opened 9 Epic cards, and more specifically the Aggressive Superior could be a pretty nice addition to my deck. As always I am really grateful that I opened a lot of new cards and my collection is growing even bigger :)
Watch the Action!
The first thing I would like to say is a big thank you for all of your support because the number of views on youtube videos is increasing steadily. To be honest it's not that I want publicity on youtube because I'm full into Hive but it's really good to know that someone views your work!
Against Magic
As you would see in this battle I am up against a Magic deck and of course, it has plenty of removals but I had a really good starting hand and I manage to put a lot of pressure on him during the whole period of the game. You can watch what happened next on the video.
Against Heirloom Death
This battle I believe was the most challenging of all three because I struggled a lot more to deal with my opponent's playstyle. I had complete control over the board the whole time and I never even doubt it but as you would see in the end I was pretty close to defeat. The deck that my opponent was playing is a pretty sneaky one and it could find lethal from nowhere.
Against Order Light
This battle is against a pretty good Light deck but it was too slow in comparison with my Aggro Light. Also, the fact that I found my new Legendary card Thestor, Grieving General was pretty bad for my opponent. I will not say more about this battle and I will let you enjoy the battle.

Nice collections
Thank you mate :)
Congrats on getting back to Mytick. A question for you. I currently am playing a light deck, sort of similar. But I am feeling that I am lacking any "comeback" cards. And I did not feel I saw any in your deck either. So what do you do when you fall slightly behind?
Well, that depends on which deck your opponent plays each time. You should always consider which is the winning contrition for your opponent and which cards he runs on his deck. If I manage to capture a battle with a comeback in it I will upload it next week :)
Looking forward to it =)

Check out the last post from @hivebuzz:
It's nice to see that there is a lot of leeway to build successful decks without all the OP cards that top players use 😀
Well, I always try to show low-budget options to climb up the ladder! I really don't like the whole pay-to-win mentality and I believe that only pure skill should be enough in order to play at the top ranks. Thanks for stopping by!
How do you handle going second with few reactive cards?
Well, as I said to another guy in the comment section, it really depends on the deck your opponent runs but if you are against a same aggro deck that relies on control over the board, value trading is the way to go! Thanks for stopping by :)
