Money in the Bank, Passport in Hand — And I Still Choose Nigeria

Just like the saying " The devil you know, is better than the angel you are yet to know" based on this week's topic "If I receive a huge sum of money with two options: stay in your country or relocate, which one will I go for?". Honestly, I have given this a thought many times, If I receive a huge sum of money, I would prefer staying in Nigeria and I have my reasons. The main reason why people do relocate is to have a good life in terms of good job opportunities, security and also the difference in currency rates. Currently, the exchange rate of naira against the dollars isn't helping at all and that is one of the major issues we have here and more reason why many people want to leave the country, the pay rate over there is huge, imagine working 8-6 while earning 20-100$ per hour based on your job and in Nigeria, there is no hourly pay rate, you only earn 30k-150k monthly which isn't even up to 100$ but if we get to view it deeply, I think that is the only major reason most of these countries attract Nigerians.
Anytime someone mention Security as one of the reasons they wish to relocate, I do laugh it off because Nigeria is safer than those country, most of us don't really travel that far and we are cautious of the dangerous area where all this insecurity happens and most of the time we prefer flying anytime we need to pass those dangerous routes. If it is about police harassment, I think if you applying the rule "if you want to catch a monkey, you need to behave like a monkey" to most police harassment, if you are calm enough, you will always find a way to escape them because they like baiting their victims and once you fall into their trap, they will surely harass you and also their various reports about citizens in other countries who can shoot anyone that provoke them and still go scot free, plus they also experience harassment especially if you meet a racist in power.
Do you know how much it cost to leave your country just to settle permanently in a new country, Housing over there is too expensive, if it is that affordable, why do most foreigners end up on the streets, the cost of feeding, the cost of even owning your own house/freedom. Things aren't easy over there either unlike Nigeria, someone once said why live in an expensive apartment when all you need a house for is to keep your belongings and to also sleep and wake up, so why the stress, we are the ones trying to do extra things which are not that necessary, we do most of these things just because of "what will people say" (apart from our comfort though).
Finally, based on the topic, you receive a huge money which you can invest wisely and also start a business with and still live fine without anyone bothering you.
Security of the country is actually very messed up, no citizen is actually safe, kidnapping everywhere and funds to even travel is a big problem.
I pray God help
some countries are like that too, we just need to be try and be safe
