‎We are still on dry season here. It is best time to arrange a good proportion of food against rainy season. As it is my family routine, we do prepare cassava semovita during dry season.

‎Therefore, I went to farm where I harvested all the cassava below.

‎I also brought 2 pumpkin fruits home to prepare them for this year farming season.

‎
‎As I came back, I also started the work of peeling off the cassava skin or back.

Turning cassava into garri... Is a very long activity as always.

I just did mine,
I literally did every aspect of it from the beginning to frying the garri, reminding myself what I have not done for over so many years but I still got it right..👍😂

I was very surprised that I could do all of those. I hired a girl to fry it for me, we agreed on a price but suddenly that morning, she changed her mind.

Because I have set my mind for frying it, I went ahead and fried it.

But the boy to sieve it came up and did his own part, and I paid him as we had agreed as you can see him busy sieving the cassava.

After everything, I took paracetamol to avoid pains.

For over 30 years, I have not fried garri...but that day, I did, and it came out very fine... I'm excited 😆.

She said her mom bought a very big sack of new fresh corn, that her mom sent her to roast corn and sell instead of coming to fry my little bag of garri.

She went to opopo junction to roast corn for sales, while we agreed on #2,000 for frying just a little bag of garri. That was why, I didn't bother because I can handle the process.

The boy that was sieving it, I paid him #1,000. So that was it.

Yes, she suddenly bought a bag of corn and felt it would give them more profit than frying garri at #2,000.

You know that time fresh corn was just appearing. It was very rare and very costly, so the mom played a fast one on our agreement, no problem

One cub was sold at #500. So she saw that as much more money. But roasted corn now sales at #200. So..!
