21 Thousand Steps and a Day Full of Adventures 🌲🐝👣
I don’t know if you experience this too, but my body always switches into some strange standby mode before any big event – a trip, an excursion, or anything I need to be prepared for. Alarm set for a certain hour? Doesn’t matter. I always wake up much earlier and can’t fall back asleep. Today I got less than 5 hours of sleep (exactly 4 hours and 51 minutes 🙈), and by 6:30 AM I was already opening the kindergarten.
But before that – a quick run to the bakery for fresh bread 🍞, because honestly, the day starts best with it. The day before I had already stocked up on all the essentials for the trip: a pack of water, sausages, ketchup, mustard, and wafers for my group’s afternoon snack.
The kids slowly gathered for breakfast, and just before 8 I dashed out again to check if the bus had passed its inspection. Luckily, everything was fine, and we could head out without worry.
Our destination was the forest near Oława, where beekeepers were waiting for us with outdoor workshops 🐝🍯. It turned out to be a fantastic idea – the children could see the bees up close, listen to fun facts, and even try their hands at bee-themed crafts. On top of that, we enjoyed a forest walk – and as we all know, the forest is the best classroom and playground in one.
The result? My counter shows 21,000 steps 🚶♀️💪 and my heart is full of gratitude for such an active, wonderful day.

Nie wiem, czy też tak macie, ale moje ciało zawsze przed jakimś większym wydarzeniem – wyjazdem, wycieczką czy czymś, co wymaga ode mnie gotowości – przechodzi w tryb czuwania. Budzik ustawiony na konkretną godzinę? Nieważne. I tak obudzę się dużo wcześniej i już nie zasnę. Dziś zaliczyłam mniej niż 5 godzin snu (dokładnie 4 godziny 51 minut 🙈), a już o 6:30 otwierałam przedszkole.
Ale zanim to zrobiłam – szybki skok do piekarni po chleb 🍞, bo wiadomo, że dzień najlepiej zaczyna się od świeżego pieczywa. Dzień wcześniej zaopatrzyłam się już w cały zestaw wyjazdowy: zgrzewkę wody, kiełbaski, ketchup, musztardę i wafle na podwieczorek dla jednej z moich grup.
Dzieci powoli zbierały się na śniadanie, a ja chwilę przed ósmą jeszcze podskoczyłam sprawdzić, czy autokar przeszedł kontrolę. Na szczęście wszystko było w porządku i mogliśmy spokojnie ruszyć w trasę.
Naszym celem był las za Oławą, gdzie czekali na nas pszczelarze z warsztatami na łonie natury 🐝🍯. To był świetny pomysł – dzieciaki mogły zobaczyć pszczoły z bliska, posłuchać ciekawostek, a nawet spróbować swoich sił w pracach plastycznych związanych z tematem. Do tego oczywiście był spacer po lesie – a jak wiadomo, taki las to najlepsza sala lekcyjna i plac zabaw w jednym.
Efekt? Na liczniku 21 000 kroków 🚶♀️💪 i serce pełne wdzięczności za tak aktywny, dobry dzień.
